The inpatient rehabilitation rotation is housed within UPMC Mercy, the acute inpatient observation is housed within UPMC Presbyterian, and the outpatient rotation is split between our UPMC Monroeville and UPMC Lemieux Sports Medicine clinics. The program has been designed to advance the competent physical therapist through education, research, and professional service into a board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy. In addition to advanced coursework and mentoring, the resident with attend grand rounds, journal clubs, become APTA Basic CI certified and attend the annual APTA Combined Sections Meeting. Moreover, the resident will be enrolled as adjunct faculty at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Physical Therapy, where they will participate in the instruction of Doctoral of Physical Therapy students.

* Performs physical therapy assessment, reassessment and treatment and supervises physical therapist assistants in the treatment of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients referred by a physician to the clinic

Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays.
The hourly rate for this position is $12.00 per hour.

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions
: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions
: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
