You will contribute by:
Assisting the Reset Merchandising Manager in organizing and planning the annual reset calendar, including working with Store Counselors, Store Owners, and Store Managers to assess retailer needs.
Planning the weekly reset schedule and communicating with Merchandisers, store personnel, and Brokers to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Engaging retailers and the merchandising team in reset planning. Responsibilities include surveying stores, developing new layouts, ordering equipment, supplies, and shelf tags, and managing the full reset schedule and related projects.
Communicating reset plans with internal teams, brokers, DSD vendors, and any other individuals the retailer requests to be included in the process.
Working closely with Reset Teams to improve work quality and operational efficiency.
Maintaining positive communication with all employees to support a productive work environment.
Preparing and maintaining all reports requested by management in an accurate and timely manner.
Traveling frequently to retail store locations.

The Transportation Supervisor's primary role is the training and supervision of Drivers and Transportation support positions.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
25% - to cross dock locations in the state

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures all routes are delivered in a timely manner.
Manages coverage of drivers, accounting for vacations, absences, etc.
Monitors performance of drivers and reports any disciplinary issues to the Transportation Manager / Operations Manager.
Responsible for payroll submissions, vacation approvals, recruiting, and conducting performance appraisals on direct reports.

Maintains all fuel receipts for all terminals, matching them to monthly billing statements.
Keeps daily Error Log with Driver Check-In personnel to monitor delivery, warehouse, and sales errors.
Acts as liaison between drivers and sales consultants.
Recruits and trains all new drivers in accordance with company orientation checklist and DOT Driver criteria.
Fills in as emergency back-up for any route in the event driver is unavailable.
Works with Director of Fleet Services to maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations.
Perform spot vehicle inspections and report findings to Manager / Director Fleet Services.
Assists Customer Service / AR staff with any delivery questions.
Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions as scheduled.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise, train, and direct full-time, part-time, and temporary labor for the setup and breakdown of all event spaces.
Review and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event resumes, layouts, and diagrams to ensure room sets meet all client specifications and service expectations.
Conduct pre-shift team huddles and daily briefings to align on event timelines, safety protocols, and shift objectives.
Ensure all setups include appropriate tables, linens, skirting, chairs, staging, podiums, pipe and drape, AV tables, signage, risers, and specialty equipment.
Conduct pre-event inspections to confirm accuracy, cleanliness, and readiness of each space - ensuring high standards of visual presentation and uniformity.
Adjust room sets promptly in response to evolving client needs or last-minute requests, maintaining a professional and accommodating demeanor.
Lead or support turnovers of rooms between functions with a focus on efficiency and timeliness.
Coordinate multiple event turnovers throughout the day, especially in high-volume meeting space environments.
Serve as the primary on-shift point of contact for the set-up team, collaborating with Event Managers, Banquets, and AV teams to troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized back-of-house and equipment storage areas.
Track event-related inventory (tables, chairs, linens, risers, staging, signage) and report damages, shortages, or replacements.
Prepare and maintain billable documentation for labor, rental equipment, and event-specific requests to ensure accurate settlement.
Use internal systems to document shift completion, inventory usage, equipment issues, and turnover times.
Lead by example during peak periods, assisting with physical setup (including lifting, moving, and staging heavy equipment).
