    Performs complex skilled technical work overseeing the operations of a wastewater treatment unit on an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with client, State and Federal regulations and safety requirements, scheduling and training personnel, preparing and maintaining reports and logs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under limited supervision. Continuous supervision is exercised over Wastewater Treatment Unit Operators. Examples of Duties Supervises wastewater treatment operators; assigns, directs, trains, and inspects the work of staff; disciplines, coaches, counsels, and evaluates staff performance; verifies staff time sheets and PTO usage. Ensures compliance with operating permit requirements; analyzes data to determine proper operating conditions.
