Responsibilities
Ensure safety of crew during shifts.
Direct the efforts of all Production and QA employees per shift; document and communicate performance feedback to employees - both positive and constructive.

Prepare all necessary paperwork and record keeping for shift; communicate with the off-going shift before starting a new shift and with the on-coming shift at the end of shift.

Qualifications
Education:
Associate's Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
Experience:

Responsible for maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standards.
Responsible for the selection, training and development of the staff members within the department. Oversee divisional matters as they relate to federal, state and local employment and civil rights laws.
Give direction and be responsible for the implementation of plans. Set targets, plan and schedule work and performance indicators that are typically productivity and efficiency measures.
Participate in the hiring process of new staff members. Assist with the preparation of Staff Member Transaction Forms, performance appraisals, and any Staff Service forms as appropriate.
Arrange, provide, and supervise training of new staff members to include familiarization of property, standard operating procedures, and policies. Cross-train staff members in all positions within their area of responsibility and all types of equipment to perform their duties, in addition to successful implementation and follow-up checklists. Ensure that all staff members are retrained as needed.
Serve as a role model to all staff members, adhering closely to policies and procedures, practicing the highest standards of performance. Set the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, punctuality, and standards of work.
Maintain close contact with staff members, respecting them as individuals and ensuring good communications leading to high morale in the department. Discuss grievances, suggestions, and complaints with staff. Attempt to resolve problems and recommend appropriate solutions and actions to the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef
Ensure that all progressive disciplinary action is presented within two days from the point of infractions. The disciplinary action forms shall be completed, as needed with violations defined, requirements for corrective action, and consequences for non-adherence.
Be familiar with all company policies and benefits.
Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation.
Ability to distinguish product quality, taste, texture and presentation and observe preparation.
Ability to conduct meetings, menu briefings and maintain communication lines between line staff and departmental managers.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Provides vocational support.
Assists Program Director with all areas of program development as needed.
Provides prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, both to stop the crisis and to notify, when indicated, persons and agencies necessary for the resolution of the crisis; provides “on-the-spot” counseling that is both helpful to the members and consistent with the philosophy of the program.
Ensures the safety, health, and well-being of members.
Completes paperwork as assigned promptly.
Reviews and approves staff mileage sheets.
Responsible for overseeing and co-signing of documentation for interns, graduate students, and PSCs.
Ensures that all staff abide by meal period and rest period rules.
Facilitates groups and community activities; facilitates team staff meetings at least monthly and more often as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is through graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and four 4 years of varied experience as a provider of direct mental health services or meeting other Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation with a master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services; one (1) year of supervisory/management experience; license eligible and current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC.
LICENSES; CERTIFICATES; SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
California driver's license & current vehicle insurance/registration
Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old, excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport, inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.
