This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Requirements
A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment.
Understanding of regulatory agencies' requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.
A minimum of 5 years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.

What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
* Two (2)+ years of experience in fabrication, assembly, or testing of mechanical or electromechanical systems (experience in R&D or prototype environments preferred)
* Experience with CAD design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and familiarity with fabrication shop practices
Skills Needed:
* Proficiency with mechanical fabrication and assembly using metals, polymers, and composites
* Hands-on experience with power tools, machining equipment, and additive manufacturing (3D printing)
* Familiarity with COTS components and hardware integration
* Strong organizational and documentation skills

The Information System Technician provides first-level technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and delivering exceptional customer service to internal clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems; escalate complex issues when necessary.
Handle calls from difficult clients with professionalism and empathy.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
