The Community and State Training Team is currently recruiting a Trainer to support the UnitedHealthcare Community and State Plan of New Jersey. The Senior Trainer will be responsible for the effective delivery of training for new business initiatives, new and existing training programs that encompass training of clinical staff such as nurses, social workers, and medical directors as well as non-clinical staff. The Senior Trainer will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who promote optimal training outcomes through: * Continual collaboration with instructional designers, business partners, and SMEs * Thorough assessment and analysis of training needs * Timely planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training * Participation in the design of training materials and curriculum to support training programs Primary Responsibilities: * Assess customer needs and identify solutions for unique challenges * Handle moderately complex issues and analysis with minimal supervision * Translate concepts into practical applications * Explain complex topics clearly to others * Coach and support less experienced team members * Create and maintain training materials and resources * Deliver effective adult learning experiences * Manage the learning environment and improve training outcomes * Build strong relationships across teams and leadership levels * Work with stakeholders to improve training strategies * Attend senior-level or state-requested meetings as needed * Provide backup support to training team members * Maintain professionalism during challenging facilitation scenarios * Contribute to projects that support the success of the UnitedHealthcare Community and State You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. What you'll do Investigate and evaluate onsite to resolve complex coverage and damage issues to include preparing complete estimates of repair for the covered damages. This may include accessing roofs by ladder, inspecting attics, crawl spaces and basements in search of damage. Handle moderate to complex claims independently while managing your workload, from first notice of loss to final closure. Be expected to work in a vehicle in the field daily while occasionally handling assignments from the desk. Explain coverage of loss, assist policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs and additional living arrangements. Work with and coordinate a few vendor services such as contractors, emergency repair, cleaning services and various replacement services. May be called upon for catastrophe duty. Position details Territory-based work: Most workdays will be spent in the field within your assigned local territory, giving you the opportunity to work directly with customers and gain hands-on experience. Training & support: To set you up for success, you'll participate in a comprehensive 5-month training program, which includes: Primarily virtual and on-the-job learning. Facilitates excess inventory returns or interstore pharmacy transfers where applicable for non-returnable ABC overstock. Verifies posting of all pharmacy/ prescription claims. * Completes execution of all pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and markdowns deletes. Responsible for basic department pricing, including daily price changes, accurate pricing with correct signage, and reliable and timely completion of any additional regulatory pricing tasks. * Responsible for supporting front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items. Monitors pharmacy manual orders to identify excess orders. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be acting as a liaison between the business clients and business analysis, development teams, and technology management. In this role you will be responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze requirements, working in agile development teams through the SDLC, and assisting the Project managers and Business Analysis in project delivery. What you'll do in the role: Work as a liaison between the business and development team in all phases of development from solution definition to deployment Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional, technical and system specifications. Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of multiple distributed applications Contributing to 24x7 availability and scalability of the solutions Analyzing existing designs and interfaces and creating design extensions or enhancements Designing and enhancing UIs with a focus on the user experience Testing software designs and solutions (including debugging and troubleshooting) Promote the firm's values and set an example for team members upholding those values What you'll bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field required 3+ years of experience using angular. Good Angular experience is needed for the role 10+ years of experience preferable as Java Developer with Strong analytical skills and programing skills Relevant experience with business requirements, structured analysis, process design, UML process and use case definition Experience with Agile development methodologies, TDD, BDD and continuous integration Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $135,000 per year for an Associate at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
