A real estate investment firm is adding an entry-level BDR (BusinessDevelopmentRepresentative) to their Acquisitions Sales team in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL. The firm manages over $6B in AUM, acquires over half a billion in assets annually and manages over 5,000 properties across the US. The firm is owned by a larger parent company which has over $90B in assets. The firm specializes in acquiring ground leases for existing telecom assets such as cell towers, cell sites and billboards.
We're looking for a sales-focused individual to join the team and help contribute to sourcing deals in this space. In this role, you will be responsible for calling leads and identifying potential acquisition opportunities. Your primary focus will be calling property owners, building rapport, and setting appointments for the acquisitions team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment and is happy speaking to prospective clients throughout much of the day. This person is expected to make between 75-100 cold calls per day, and collaborate with the Acquisitions Sales team to complete deals. This is an entry-level role, and we're seeking internship experience, ideally at at a Brokerage Firm, or 1-2 years of experience max, in a sales position.
This role has the potential to grow into an Associate VP, Acquisitions as quick as 90-days. The typical promotion timeline depends on the person but ranges from 3-12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound calls to potential sellers and property owners to assess their interest in selling their ground leases.
• Maintain and manage a database of leads and follow up with prospects as needed.
• Build rapport with leads and qualify leads by gathering relevant information about properties, motivations, and timelines for selling.
• Schedule appointments for the acquisitions team to meet with potential sellers.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while communicating with prospects.

As a Sales DevelopmentRepresentativeat Vendasta, you are the first point of contact for inbound leadsplaying a crucial role in driving pipeline growth and shaping the client journey from the very first touchpoint. Youll engage with SMBs to uncover their needs, align them with Vendastas digital solutions, and book qualified onboarding or sales consultations within tight timelines.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, organized under pressure, and hungry to meet (and exceed) daily activity goals. Working in-office from our Boca Raton location, youll use AI-enabled tools and structured workflows to accelerate your performance and deliver value at every step.
Your Impact
As a Sales DevelopmentRepresentative, you'll work with inbound leads and collaborate with Account Executives and onboarding teams to:
Handle 2530 inbound, lead-generated calls per day, qualifying prospects through structured discovery and booking meetings within 2448 hours.
Use guided talk tracks and AI-powered objection-handling tools to manage calls efficiently, aiming for an average call time of 12 minutes or less.
Consistently book 45 qualified handoff meetings daily to maintain strong pipeline momentum.
Maintain clean, accurate CRM records using AI-generated summaries and follow-up templates.
Ensure meeting quality by aligning bookings with fit criteria and rebooking missed consultations.
Adapt messaging based on product knowledge and AI-powered customer insights related to online listings, reviews, and advertising.
Provide feedback to improve sales workflows and AI prompts, contributing to continuous process improvement.
What You Bring to the Table
You are driven, articulate, and highly motivated by measurable goals. With a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, you know how to keep the pipeline moving while building trust with prospects. You bring a solid understanding of inbound sales strategies and the digital marketing landscapeparticularly the importance of online listings, reviews, and reputation for SMBs.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging way. Youre tech-savvy, adaptable, and excited to use AI tools to maximize performance. Ideally, you have 1+ year of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in a SaaS or digital marketing environment. Experience with CRM platforms, inbound sales techniques, and high-volume outreach is a definite asset.
