Nancy Roberts Linder has worked with professional service entities, primarily law firms, for the past 34 years. For 18 of those years, Nancy managed her own law firm consulting practice where she created marketing function infrastructure and advised lawyers on client development and client relationship management initiatives. Prior to starting her consulting practice, Nancy was the first marketing professional hired by Hinshaw & Culbertson where she was responsible for creating and implementing the firm's marketing department and programs. Today, Nancy is the Director of Marketing for Chapman and Cutler LLP, a prior consulting client, where she runs the firm’s marketing department and supports strategic planning initiatives. Additionally, Nancy is co-owner and CFO of Linder Legal Staffing Inc., a contract and direct-hire staffing company in Chicago which she started with Curtis Linder (her husband and business partner) in 2003. Nancy pioneered the teaching of marketing skills to law students by developing an innovative program which she taught for eight years at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and three years at Valparaiso University School of Law, a first for both schools in their respective states. In 2003, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law bestowed Nancy with a Professional Achievement Award for the program, and the program was also recognized with an award from the Legal Marketing Association. Nancy is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and served on the Midwest Chapter Board of Directors since the chapter’s inception in 1989 through 2000, served twice as president, and was inducted into the chapter’s Hall of Fame. She is also a supporter of the Chicago Bar Foundation, where she co-chairs the annual Passport to Chicago fundraising event.Over the course of her career, Nancy has published more than 100 articles and wrote a monthly column (for 16 years) on client development issues for Intellectual Property Today.

Stacey Kielbasa is the Director of Professional Development, Attorney Recruitment, and Diversity at Chapman and Cutler LLP. She has been with the Firm her entire career—more than 15 years—first as a summer associate, then as an associate in the public finance department, and for the last 13 years, in a professional development role. She currently oversees the Firm’s Summer Associate Program, and the Firm's Professional Development, Diversity and Recruiting initiatives. She is also a part of the Firm’s internal management team. Under Stacey’s leadership, Chapman and Cutler has been recognized as a top firm for women by Working Mother magazine and a top firm for LGBT equality by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. With a Master’s degree in education, Stacey also worked with Firm leadership to establish the Chapman Leadership Academy, a first-of-its-kind training and development curriculum designed to prepare senior associates for partnership.

Stacey now serves as the Immediate Past President of NALP and has been a member since 2001. She is also involved with the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms, the Chicago Area Legal Personnel Administrators, the Chicago Professional Development Consortium, and the National Professional Development Consortium. Stacey received her JD from the University of Illinois College of Law, magna cum laude, her Master of Education from the University of Illinois College of Education, and her BA, magna cum laude, from Notre Dame.
