A general knowledge of food science is necessary to supervise the analysis of the sample.

Work Environment: The incumbent works in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to laboratory fumes, chemicals, and materials will occur when in the laboratory. What you will be doing:
Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center
Supervises staff and directs work as they execute activities related to order fulfillment, order management, inventory management, stocking, material handling, equipment usage, and related needs
Prepares work schedules and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needs
Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system
Interviews and trains prospective and new team members
Supervises business support staff development including appraising performance, rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals
Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or distribution center
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels
Ensures compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures including safety
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and ISO9002 procedures
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team.
Prepares reports for leadership
Assists in maintaining the physical properties of the warehouse
Submits weekly, monthly and other special services billing to customer services representatives
Supervises employees in distribution center operation in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

Requirements
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
1 year of supervisory experience preferred
Experience with warehouse equipment
Experience with warehouse management systems
Experience with labor management systems
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

Overview of the Assistant Manager, OMNI Operations role
You will be driving incremental sales and ensuring profitability through the effective management of in-store order fulfillment via Omni channels. You will support management team in achieving goals by providing World-Class service. Serve as a role model for building relationships with guests. You will maintain presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage in all areas of the store.
Responsibilities
· Lead customer fulfillment across all channels leveraging all services (order pick up, outgoing shipment, Unpaid hold management, Home Delivery, Installation)
· Identify, execute and maintain shipping in and shipping out lanes in the stock room. Utilize additional pop up tables, carts and or baker's racks as needed
· Ensure effective stockroom organization and supplies to maximize efficiency, safety and productivity to support salesfloor replenishment and Omni fulfillment
· Perform regular audits and daily reconciliations (UPS, DIAR, Markdown Audit Report) and establishes daily disciplines to eliminate shrink (lost cartons, mis-picks, MOS, returns, RTVs)
· Champions all safety best practices. Maintains and executes all safety binder requirements: hosting monthly safety meetings, ensuring tools and resources (ladders, box cutters, etc.) are in working condition, and ensures all associates have completed ladder safety training

· Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
· Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Friday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season (November and December). Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Saturday and Sunday).
