Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon sixty days of employment.
We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.
If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don't bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay.
However, the earning potential is much higher!
Schedule: 2 days off during the week; during slower season enjoy a four-on, three-off schedule.
Bonus Opportunity: Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $750.00, paid in two installments: $375.00 at 60 days of employment and $375.00 at 6 months.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
* At least two (2) years of experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing mobile communications equipment.
* Team-focused with a passion for meeting customer needs.
* Strong communication skills for end users and third parties.
* Resourceful technicians sometimes need assistance/guidance from others.
* Understanding of / willingness to learn two-way radio theory.
* Experience operating testing equipment like spectrum analyzers, system analyzers, watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, and multimeters.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* A valid driver's license.
* Ability to pass a 7-year background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
* A two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or an applicable subject is preferred.
* P25 and/or MotoTRBO experience is preferred.
* CET certification, preferred.
YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours are Monday-Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.

Role Synopsis: The Communications Specialist is responsible for ensuring reliable communication and visual monitoring across the Permian Business Unit. The technician installs, configures, and maintains advanced radio networks and camera systems, integrating them with SCADA, control rooms, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain radio communication systems in addition to industrial camera systems, including TropOS's suite of radios, Cambium PTP and PTMP systems, fixed PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom), thermal, infrared, and specialty process monitoring cameras.
Monitor and maintain SuprOS NMS system.
Run and terminate cabling (fiber optic, Cat5/6) and ensure proper connections with control systems, DVRs/NVRs, and monitoring software Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, interference issues, and connectivity problems.
Diagnose and repair camera malfunctions, image quality issues, connectivity problems, and power supply failures.
Assist with scheduling and planning of Development new drill facilities and infrastructure installations.
Calibrate and adjust lenses, focus, exposure, and integration with industrial monitoring systems (SCADA, control rooms, safety systems).
Work with IT teams to integrate cameras into networks, ensuring cybersecurity and reliable data transmission.
Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and system upgrades to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Calibrate and align RF systems using specialized test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, watt meters, and service monitors.
Support the integration of communication systems with industrial control systems, SCADA, and safety networks.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and system configurations.
Ensure compliance with FCC regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Provide technical support and training to end users on proper operation of radio equipment.
Essential Experience and Education:7+ years in oil & gas operations, control center, or SCADA/field tech roles preferred.
Knowledge of production systems, midstream operations, and alarm management.
Strong decision-making, independent work, and communication skills.
Proficient in real-time data systems (SCADA, PI, CygNet, etc.
).
Ability to work 12-hour shifts How much do we pay (Base) $104,000-$122,000.
