Conducts annual HIPAA security risk assessments. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field. Or Minimum 5 years of IT management experience, with at least 2 years in a health care or medical practice environment. In-depth understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and other health care regulatory requirements. Experience with network management, cybersecurity, and cloud-based solutions (MSP). Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification in health care IT (e.g., CPHIMS, HCISPP) or IT security (CISSP).
