Job Description As a civil foreman for our Ohio market, you will lead a small team through the building and maintenance of cell towers, small cells, and other wireless equipment and structures, installing, maintaining, and upgrading telecom cabinets and telecom shelters. Every day, you will interact with customers and subcontractors, complete necessary paperwork, and communicate with the construction manager about work progress and known issues. You will also review and approve your crew's work, providing training, guidance, and work leadership necessary to maximize safety and productivity, minimize costs, and maintain quality. What We Need from You To thrive in this role, you should have electrical experience (both AC and DC) and be comfortable with schematics and materials. Experience wiring cabinets, panels, meter bases, and performing battery installations is a must. You do not need to have an electrician's license, but you should be comfortable performing the work. In addition, you must be able to perform tower construction duties in outdoor environments, in all weather conditions, and you must be able to travel extensively within the market area. Overnight travel with some evening and weekend work should be expected. You must possess basic computer skills and be able to complete/submit paperwork by required deadlines. Job Description Be able to read a site drawing. Set up and use a transit to establish grades for a project based on the worksite. Understand the fundamentals of hardscape construction and be well versed with different types of base installations - traditional, permeable, raised structure and synthetic. Set screed bars according to final grade of the project. Screed and compact areas in preparation for laying pavers, slabs or walls. Free-grade base in areas where bars are not used. Check for square and level continually over the course of a project. Notify the Project Manager if you think you see potential issues on site. Maintain an appealing paver laying pattern for modular projects and straight bond lines on linear projects. Confidently mark and cut pavers with both table saw and demo saw. Install edging. Sand and polish projects to completion. Report quantity of materials used to the Project Manager. Identify problems and mitigate them early. Communicate with clients as much as needed on the jobsite. Be responsible for and able to report all materials used on the job. Plan out day and delegate work to Laborers and Installers. Ensure team is operating efficiently. Be mindful of the grades on the jobsite. Work with the Project Manager to organize the placement of materials and aggregates on the jobsite. Read and understand commercial and residential landscape/hardscape plans. Map out a jobsite based on plans renderings, always consulting the Project Manager with any questions or changes. #hc170740
