We are seeking a motivated and reliable Duct and Insulation Lead Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for installing insulation in residential projects, ensuring high-quality work, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience in residential HVAC duct work, and insulation and is comfortable working with a high level of integrity in confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Review daily work schedule and ensure truck is stocked with insulation materials, tools, and equipment.
Install ducting on HVAC ductwork, piping, and equipment according to specifications, work orders, and safety standards.
Measure and cut insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or other thermal products.
Prepare and seal surfaces by caulking, taping, or applying adhesives to prevent air leakage.
Secure insulation with staples, tape, wire, or fasteners.
Install vapor barriers and protective coverings where required.
Safely operate hand and power tools, including knives, staple guns, saws, and blowers.
Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
Follow all company safety standards and keep job sites clean.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Prior experience in construction, insulation, or painting (blown-in/spray foam similar to painting).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
