Responsibilities:
Manage the hiring process, set up interviews, make recommendations to hiring managers based on who you find to be the best fit for our team and culture, and follow up with candidates who are not selected
Make sure all candidate files are properly stored and managed to assure privacy and keep information readily available
Post job openings to all major job boards in order to bring in a steady stream of strong applicants
Establish a proven recruiting process for finding and vetting candidates to ensure they are qualified and scale up the recruiting program

THE ROLE

Essential Functions:

Education/Experience:
2+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree; additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you:
Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.
Obtain approval from your unit commander.
Agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate.
In-scope DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience in Intel, IT, Logistics AND/OR Medical recruiting and other military roles.
Understanding of government contract proposal activities.
Experience in the government contracting industry.
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and to organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with large groups of prospective candidates.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications and hands-on familiarity with various recruiting sources and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of DoD culture and organizational structure.
Understanding of the security clearance process and how job seekers process through medical and mental requirements for positions overseas in austere environments.
Familiarization with military transition assistance programs and military base hiring events.
Previous experience as a military recruiter is helpful.
Ability to travel for hiring events and/or other recruiting events such as Incumbent Capture.
