Overview
Due to continued growth, TRC is seeking more Transmission Scheduler III to support our Client across the Mid-Atlanic region.
Transmission Schedulers are responsible for maintaining the reliability of the Bulk Electric System during planned and unplanned outages. Employees at the career level of this job family have the job skills and knowledge to exercise independent judgment on complex projects and assignments. They have achieved full competency and proficiency in their job duties.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities include:
Assuming lead Outage Coordination role in overseeing the safe, efficient, and effective processing of Capital Projects outage requests
Function as Operation's Liaison to FE Project Management group
Analyze and Mitigate project outage requests contingencies
Write switching procedures to remove transmission facilities from service, restore to service, and ultimately testing, commissioning, and placing into service new transmission equipment.
Provide support to Operators, Project Managers, Field personnel, Commission Engineers, and Outage Coordination staff regarding switching requests.
Coordinate project outages with internal and external sources.
Maintain project compliance with PJM requirements.
Update EMS displays based on a project's topology changes
Secondary Responsibilities include:
Assisting with additional Outage Coordination processes as needed
Processing switching requests submitted by regions
Analyzing outage requests for contingencies
Modeling scheduled outages in EMS/RTS to identify contingencies and/or overloads. Providing solutions to scheduling concerns
Providing technical support to control centers
Administration of databases used to support the control centers
Preparing scheduling reports for operating companies
Providing assistance during emergencies and storm related activities
Qualifications
Works safely according to company policies and procedures.
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
3-4 years of related experience
In-depth understanding of Transmission System Operations procedures, policies, practices
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical abilities involving complex problems; exercise sound judgment.
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Technical expert in Energy Delivery Outage application, Transmission Outage database, EMS, Microsoft Office, SORS, eDART, FileNet,

Position Overview
The Industrial Construction Scheduler will play a critical role in supporting JGM's construction operations by developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules. This role ensures that projects are properly planned, resources are forecasted, and progress is tracked with accuracy. Job Summary
Produce daily load schedules and plant revenue forecasts for orders to customers' locations by assigning orders to optimized loads while working with transportation, production, and sales to ship products on time and in full meeting or exceeding the customer's demands.
Responsibilities
Scheduler is the direct link between production, shipping, transportation, and sales ensuring that all products are shipped to customers in a timely manner and by deadline.
Must possess the ability to align workload with production schedules, ensuring timely coordination of shipments based on order completion estimation and the availability of transportation resources on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Must be detail oriented with administrative skills with the ability to understand the shipping and receiving practices of the company.
Learn and understand outside company cultures to bring about great customer service and lower our transportation cost exposure, growing our bottom line impact.
Review and monitor inbound material needs and intercompany transfer schedule to ensure critical components are received/transferred to meet company needs.
Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates especially production, transportation, customer service, and shipping
Analyze and report on details and specifics daily for current shipments as well as forecasted shipments.
An integral contributor to managing our short-term forecasting capabilities and our on-time, in full (OTIF) metrics within our BI platform.
Direct facilitator of all weekly delivery and scheduling calls for assigned plant(s).

Role Summary:
As a member of the Pipeline Scheduling department, the Scheduler will actively participate within a Pipeline Scheduling Team to schedule pipeline movements within the Buckeye pipeline system, effectively manage shipper pipeline inventory, and provide exceptional internal / external customer service. In addition to producing effective schedules, he/she is accountable for the desk inventory as well as activities that drive the scheduler's desk reconciliation which include coordination of ticketing review and corrections, reviewing of metrics to drive improvements, and perform month-end book inventory balancing. Various responsibilities will be assigned at the Scheduling Desk, Scheduling Team and Scheduling Department levels related to Scheduling, Ticket/Inventory Management, Continuous Improvement focus areas as well as Ad-Hoc projects. They will participate as a team member within scheduling department to assist the shipper community, field personnel, and Buckeye's Transportation Department.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Allocations- Accountable for the review and approval of the Scheduling Desk's nomination allocation process which includes identifying over-nominated lines, consolidating shipper nomination information, notification of allocation need, coordination of shipper communication reviewing and approving shipper binding allocation deficiencies.
Schedule Production and Management- Manage scheduling desk processes to ensure asset optimization, schedule and order accuracy, and timely communication to internal / external customers. Activities include:
Management of shipper product inventory, nominations, and resulting schedules to ensure maximum asset utilization.
Develop accurate and timely operational pump and delivery schedules for the internal (Control Center and Field) and external (shippers and connecting pipeline carriers) customer base.
Consistent communications with the internal and external customer base to provide exceptional customer service, maximize Buckeye asset utilization, notification of scheduled and unscheduled downtime (product outages, pipeline maintenance, etc.)
Collaborate with shippers, terminals and connecting pipeline carriers to minimize shipper inventory containment and product outages.
Partner with M&QC to assist in the investigation, research, and resolution of quality and measurement-related issues.
Analysis- Assist in the performance of key analyses to support and improve team or departmental objectives including ticketing/inventory process evaluation, tank and line utilization, volumetric over/short, and tool development supporting scheduling, ticketing and reconciliation process improvements. Coordination and review of analyses with the Scheduling Analyst will be critical for success.
Ticketing Moves/Correction- Oversee Scheduling Desk ticketing activities to ensure ticketing accuracy. Perform ticketing validation processes and communicate ticketing corrections to the Scheduling Analyst. Communicate ticketing errors with appropriate resources in Scheduling Team, Field Operations, and Control Center. Support training or knowledge transfer to improve ticket accuracy.
Reconciliation & Review- Accountable for the Scheduling Desk reconciliation and tracking of pipeline systems to minimize discrepancies between book inventory and physical inventory. Accountable for the efforts to identify and resolve physical inventory variances through coordination with Scheduling, Field, and M&QC. Accountable for shipper over/short variances to ensure accurate shipper inventory positions.
Month-End Close- Accountable for the Scheduling Team's month-end close by performing the Scheduler desk close, consolidating the desk's over/short position, and submitting the month-end data to the Scheduling Team Lead. Accountable for the identification and resolution of physical inventory variances through coordination with Scheduling, Field, and M&QC.
