Position Overview
The Industrial Construction Scheduler will play a critical role in supporting JGM's construction operations by developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules. This role ensures that projects are properly planned, resources are forecasted, and progress is tracked with accuracy. The Scheduler will also collaborate with Sales, Estimating, and Preconstruction to build proposal and estimate schedules that strengthen JGM's competitiveness.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong technical expertise in scheduling software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with superintendents, project managers, and executives. As JGM continues to scale, this position will serve as the foundation for a broader Project Controls function.
Responsibilities
Project Scheduling
Develop, maintain, and monitor baseline and updated project schedules for multiple concurrent industrial construction projects.
Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master schedule.
Perform manpower loading, forecasting, and resource leveling to support project execution.
Progress Monitoring & Risk Management
Conduct regular job site visits (up to 50% travel) to meet with project managers and superintendents.
Audit field progress against schedules, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Perform schedule risk analysis and develop recovery and mitigation plans.
Prepare schedule updates and reports for project teams and executive leadership.
Preconstruction & Business Development Support
Develop preliminary and detailed schedules for proposals, bids, and estimates.
Provide schedule input to the sales and estimating teams to ensure competitive and realistic project approaches.
Support customer presentations by providing schedule logic and milestone clarity.
Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with project controls and field operations to align schedules with budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans.
Generate look-ahead schedules for field execution teams.
Communicate schedule risks, impacts, and recovery strategies to stakeholders.
Company Scheduling
Develop, maintain, and monitor baseline and updated project roll up of all company schedules for industrial construction projects
including resource allocation.

Education & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of dedicated scheduling experience in the industrial construction sector.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 required; Microsoft Project or other scheduling software a plus.
Demonstrated experience in manpower loading, forecasting, and resource planning.
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to work with both field and executive staff.
Ability to travel up to 50% nationally for site audits, meetings, and schedule reviews.

Utilize Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Outlook to manage communications and tasks
Collaborate with management and Hiring/Recruitment to support staffing goals and operational efficiency
Provide professional customer service and maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
13 years of experience in high-volume scheduling, dispatching, or workforce coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google applications, and Outlook
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Must be able to work in the office Part-Time In-Office(6a - 2p and 2p - 10p Saturday / Sunday)
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
Raises: Increase at 6 months and 1 year, followed by a 3% annual increase.
Paid Time Off: 1 week accrual begins after a 60-day probationary period.
