Key Responsibilities Project Management & Financial Control Manage multiple commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from start to finish Oversee schedules, budgets, change orders, billing, purchase orders, contracts, warranties, and closeout documentation Perform detailed job cost tracking, forecasting, and budget analysis Track production including labor hours, material usage, and quality metrics Approve jobs for invoicing and assist with job issue resolution Field Operations & Quality Control Partner with drafting resources to ensure accurate roofing and waterproofing drawings, details, and revisions Oversee Project Coordinators and Superintendents on assigned roofing projects Manage and enforce field technologies and control programs (KeyStyle, PlanGrid, QA/QC, JHA, etc.) Conduct regular job site visits and attend pre-job, progress, and closeout meetings Ensure QA/QC reporting is accurate and completed in compliance with roofing specifications Promote and enforce a strong safety culture for all field personnel Roofing Systems & Technical Oversight Ensure proper installation and compliance for commercial roofing and waterproofing systems Review and process submittals, RFIs, warranties, and closeout documentation Ensure adherence to manufacturer requirements, specifications, and best practices Resolve technical and field-related issues related to roofing and waterproofing scopes Client, Vendor & Team Leadership Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and vendors Manage subcontractors and suppliers specific to roofing and waterproofing trades Resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently in the field and with clients Assist in hiring, training, and reviewing Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers Train and mentor team members on roofing processes, company culture, and best practices Support team members as needed to ensure successful project delivery Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support roofing operations and project success Position Requirements Experience 2+ years as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in commercial roofing and waterproofing Education 5+ years of experience in construction with a focus on commercial roofing and/or A 4-year degree in construction management or a related field Skills English speaking (bilingual preferred) Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously Ability to effectively interact with field crews, superintendents, and operations teams Proven ability to mentor and develop team members Technical & Compliance Requirements Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the United States Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including additional hours when required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret construction and roofing documents Strong understanding of contracts, billings, submittals, RFIs, lien waivers, and insurance Familiarity with commercial roofing and waterproofing systems and applications OSHA 30 certification required
