About the Role
ASI is hiring Technical Trainer, who ideally has spent time as a Technical Writer to support customer learning through a combination of high-quality training delivery and clear, effective instructional documentation. This role requires strong skills in both customer training and technical writing. The balance between training responsibilities and writing responsibilities will vary based on business needs and the skill set of the selected candidate.
While the Technical Communicator/Writer role focuses heavily on comprehensive system documentation and product manuals, the Technical Trainer role focuses on instructional materials and content that directly support training programs, customer onboarding, and real-world product usage.
This position has hybrid elements with some onsite training at our Logan, Utah, facility.
Job Duties
Training Development & Facilitation
Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions for external customers and internal teams.
Provide hands-on instruction in sandbox environments using ASI's automation and robotic technology.
Customize training programs for industry-specific use cases and customer workflows.
Serve as a technical resource post-training, ensuring customer understanding and successful adoption.
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve training content and delivery methods.
Technical Writing & Instructional Content Development
Create clear, concise training materials such as quick-start guides, handouts, procedural steps, and scenario-based learning resources.
Maintain instructional content within Paylocity's LMS and documentation platforms like Zendesk.
Write scripts and outlines for training videos or onboarding workflows.
Produce written content that simplifies complex technical concepts for end users.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with current product behavior.

Evaluate training and documentation effectiveness through surveys, analytics, and customer feedback.
Recommend and implement enhancements to training methodologies.

WHAT WE DO: Our company professionally cleans residential and commercial properties on a recurring basis, one-time cleanings such as move-in and move-outs, post-construction cleaning, deep cleaning projects, office cleaning, and specialized organizational projects. We help so many people who either cannot physically do the cleaning they have done in the past, do not have the time to keep up, or just prefer spending time on something else.

On-the-job training is provided
. We are a newer company that is growing fast and plans to expand within the coming year. The person we hire will have the potential to move into a trainer, and crew lead position quickly. The position is currently part-time with full-time potential based on performance and willingness to lead and train others.
Attention to detail is extremely important as we provide very high quality cleaning services for both residential and commercial clients. This quality is key for the growth of our company and is the reason we regularly get referrals for additional business. Bonuses are paid out for employees who get referrals from clients they regularly take care of.
Reliability is an absolute must. The employee will be scheduled appointments where they are expected to be there at a certain time and efficiently complete the job accurately within a certain pre-determined time. Often, on larger jobs, the employee is part of a team and the total appointment time is calculated based on having every member of the team there.
We are looking for someone with very good people skills, friendly yet professional level communication skills, trustworthy in every way, with schedule flexibility. We will also work with your schedule as needed. The individual must be willing to follow instructions, take professional advice, and truly be committed to providing very high quality and detailed services.
Communication and customer service is very important.
They must be able to pass the initial background check and drug screening, and be willing to submit to random drug testing.
We are in the private homes of individuals as well as offices for local businesses and trust is imperative.
TRANSPORTATION: In most cases, the employee will need their own transportation. There will be times where the group lead can arrange a carpool with the other members assigned to a job.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma is preferred but not necessary. No college is necessary. However, the applicant must have the ability to learn new skills, become efficient, and take learning very seriously.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: No commercial cleaning experience is required. Leadership experience is a definite plus, experience cleaning your own home over the years qualifies as a level of experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a very physically active job where lifting, bending, stooping, visual acuity, mental organization and coordination, balance, and moving are all very necessary to be efficient. If you have concerns that any of these physical or mental activities would be detrimental to your health, please consider a different job that may be more suitable. It is frequent that lifting 20 lb chairs, and even some items that are heavier may be necessary.
STARTING WAGE: Starting wages will be based on the results of a testing phase where the level of cleaning accuracy, personal conduct, and independence potential will be monitored. During the testing phase, the starting wages are $13/hr. The employee will be working with a trainer at all times, and after the 40 hours is completed, they will go through an evaluation meeting where they will be given their actual starting wage ranging between $13/hr to $15/hr.

Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the Unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent), as well as weekly summaries for the DO.
Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
Generate the following deliverables:
AF Form 4324, Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheet.
Training aids as directed by the unit training officer.
Monthly aircrew qualification level summary (also known as the "Letter of X's").

In this position, you'll work with our Interactive Broadcast instructors to help them navigate Zoom technology and create a smooth, effective learning environment. You'll also assist at our front desk, greeting students and community members, and helping with questions or needs that arise, including providing testing support.
This is a part-time position primarily working evenings from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with Friday shifts (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) also available. Hours range from 10-20 per week, with the possibility of additional day or evening shifts as needed. No weekends!

Responsibilities
Assist students and instructors by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of telecommunication classes.

Assist with reception, testing services, and assist the USU-Kaysville staff with various projects.

Must be extremely dependable, maintain confidentiality of student information, and always work with integrity.
Be able to communicate effectively face-to-face, over the telephone, on IVC equipment, and via electronic communication tools.

About the Role
ASI is hiring Technical Trainer, who ideally has spent time as a Technical Writer to support customer learning through a combination of high-quality training delivery and clear, effective instructional documentation. This role requires strong skills in both customer training and technical writing. The balance between training responsibilities and writing responsibilities will vary based on business needs and the skill set of the selected candidate.
While the Technical Communicator/Writer role focuses heavily on comprehensive system documentation and product manuals, the Technical Trainer role focuses on instructional materials and content that directly support training programs, customer onboarding, and real-world product usage.
This position has hybrid elements with some onsite training required at our Logan, Utah, facility.
Job Duties
Training Development & Facilitation
Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions for external customers and internal teams.
Provide hands-on instruction in sandbox environments using ASI's automation and robotic technology.
Customize training programs for industry-specific use cases and customer workflows.
Serve as a technical resource post-training, ensuring customer understanding and successful adoption.
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve training content and delivery methods.
Technical Writing & Instructional Content Development
Create clear, concise training materials such as quick-start guides, handouts, procedural steps, and scenario-based learning resources.
Maintain instructional content within Paylocity's LMS and documentation platforms like Zendesk.
Write scripts and outlines for training videos or onboarding workflows.
Produce written content that simplifies complex technical concepts for end users.
Use structured authoring tools (e.g., Paligo, MadCap Flare) as needed for training-related documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with current product behavior.
Manage updates to training materials as product features evolve.
Process Improvement & Strategic Contributions (Levels III-IV)
Evaluate training and documentation effectiveness through surveys, analytics, and customer feedback.
Recommend and implement enhancements to training methodologies.
Lead train-the-trainer programs and mentor junior team members.
Work cross-functionally to align training content with broader product documentation strategies.
Contribute to scalable systems and processes that support global training deployments.
Requirements by Level
Technical Trainer/Writer I
3+ years of experience in training, technical support, documentation, or a related field.
Basic experience with LMS platforms and documentation tools.

5+ years of experience in technical training, customer education, or instructional content development.
