Responsibilities:

Must-Have Skills:

Experience in reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts (including NDAs, vendor, intercompany, trade association, agent agreements and more).
Proficiency with contract lifecycle management, related software, and innovative legal technologies.

Ensure compliance with Company subcontractor approval process, including review/approve deviations from the operating company's standard subcontract and vendor terms.
Work closely with procurement and operations to ensure proper flow-down terms are incorporated into subcontracts.
Advise internal clients on updates in federal or state laws or regulations affecting engineering and construction industry, etc.
Under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel, work with outside counsel on litigation matters, including reviewing, analyzing and modifying pleadings, law and motions. Strategize with outside counsel to determine the best and most cost-effective ways to litigate the given case. Attend hearings, mediations and arbitrations as Company representative. Prepare litigation reports on assigned cases.
Assist with investigations and gather information for issues relating to Compliance, Human Resources and Safety or financial audits.
Maintain understanding of Company's insurance programs to ensure appropriate issues addressed in contracts and subcontracts, as well as the effect of those policies on assigned cases and projects.
Perform additional responsibilities, as needed or requested.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction, Human Resources, Safety, or other related field preferred.
7+ years' legal experience, with an emphasis in Construction industry and contract negotiation and administration or equivalent.
Experience with federal contracting and/or international contract laws considered a plus.
License to practice law, in good standing, in any state.
Ability to work independently, yet part of a Team, including with internal customers and other team members who work in various remote locations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and weigh facts and information from many sources, draw conclusions and make recommendations to management.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
Ability to assess legal and business risk in varying situations and make associated recommendations to minimize overall risk to the Company.
Strong written and oral communication skills as required to interface with customers and subcontractors.
Ability to work on/manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work with frequent interruptions and meet established deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, After-School Enrichment Counselors are responsible for assisting certified teachers with academic activities, leading homework help, and implementing enrichment activities for K-8 grade students. Enrichment Counselors are also responsible for the duties as assigned by the Site coordinator as ACE grows.
Academic Activities:
Assist certified teachers, by grade level, with implementing blended learning tutorials aligned with the school day curriculum. Teachers lead small group tutorials in reading, writing, and math. Enrichment Counselors assist students with independent skill practice on computers and small group skill practice at activity centers.
Homework Help:
Create a quiet, productive environment for students to complete homework and independent reading. Assist students as needed with academics and any technological challenges that may arise.
Enrichment Activities:
Ratios vary. Write, plan, and implement enrichment lessons based on student choice and school day needs. Examples include: cooking club, gardening club, service learning projects, and STEM activities. Enrichment Counselors, on their own, may be responsible for leading a group of no more than 20 children in an enrichment activity. Enrichment Counselors may work in teams to plan and lead activities.
Other Job Requirements:
Interact daily with students, teachers, parents, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and friendly manner.
Participate in mandatory staff meetings and full-day training as required.
Spend up to 2 additional hours per week preparing lesson plans and materials as required.

About Camp Bette Perot:
Camp Bette Perot, our equestrian camp, offers a sleepaway camp for girls ages 7-16. We serve approximately 150 campers per week from a variety of racial/ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Camp community life includes group living, shared meals, daily activities, kapers (chores), and rest. Campers come to camp independently and are cared for by Counselors. Camp is located 20 minutes from the small town of Palestine and 2 hours from the large city of Dallas.
The Counselor work season runs from the end of May to the end of July 2026. Counselor work week is typically 13 hours per day (plus overnights with campers) for 6 days per week.
Job summary:
Counselors are responsible for leading a fun, impactful summer camp program for all campers. Staff live in cabins, platform tents, or lodges (group living), develop relationships, care for campers, lead program activities, and participate fully in daily camp life. This team member serves as a caring mentor, fun companion, patient teacher, positive role model, and helpful problem solver. The position reports to the Camp Director. Paid staff training is provided at the beginning of the summer and takes place at Camp Bette Perot near Palestine, TX. Counselors live onsite in group accommodations during work.
Counselor leadership roles available for staff with extra experience:
Lifeguard Counselor (age 16+): Serve as counselor with additional responsibilities as a lifeguard teaching swimming at pool during daily activities. Lifeguard certification will be provided. Must be a strong swimmer (swim 200 meters, tread water for 2 minutes, complete timed event to retrieve brick from 10-foot depth).
High Ropes Counselor (age 18+): Serve as counselor with additional responsibilities as high ropes leader at challenge course during daily activities. High ropes certification will be provided. Must be comfortable with heights and wearing a harness.
Activity Leader Counselor (age 18+ with relevant certification): Serve as counselor with additional responsibilities overseeing a specific activity daily. Accountable for overall success of assigned activity, including developing program plan, maintaining spaces and equipment, coordinating up to 10 counselors, and engaging groups of campers throughout the day (pool, challenge course, target sports, fun and games, crafts, and badgework). Essential Responsibilities
Cabin Leadership: Supervise and care for campers overnight, ensuring safety and comfort in cabins.

Schedule & Commitment

* Teen Counselor reports to the Youth Program Manager directly and to the Assistant Cruise Director and Cruise Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of two years experience in a combination of programming and implementing teen recreation, teen sports, and teen theatrical performance for ages 13-17 is required.
* Minimum one year experience in programming and implementing theatrical/drama related activities is required; knowledge of teen trends and activities, music, games, video games, and movies is preferred.
* One year experience with special needs programming strongly preferred.
* Intermediate verbal and writing skills in at least one other language such as German, Spanish, French or Italian is preferred.
* Intermediate to Advanced level English verbal and writing skills, including the proper use of English grammar is required.
* Intermediate to Advanced skills in typing and computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
* One year experience communicating via microphone, using/programming DJ and light/sound equipment is preferred.

EDUCATION

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requires all crew members employed with NCL America aboard the Pride of America to hold a Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
