Measure and shape foam, batting, and other padding materials for precise fit and comfort. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders. Inspect frames and materials for defects and ensure all finished products meet quality standards. Operate upholstery tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Train, coach, and mentor upholstery staff on techniques, quality standards, and safety. Assist in developing and documenting training materials, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
