Associate's degree in instrumentation electronics or equivalent experience and at least six years (as a guideline) related experience are required. Experience in electronic systems and instrumentation with applications in compression and pipeline operations is preferred. (Typically three years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate's degree.)
Ability to apply a high level of competence in order to recognize and resolve complex operating issues in an assigned specialty and associated areas of expertise and share that knowledge with others.

Summary:
A FieldServiceTechnician (FST) is responsible for maintenance and service of USA Compression equipment reporting to the Area Service Manager (ASM). Depending on the equipment assigned, this role may maintain large or small horsepower units, gas lift or traditional compression units along with other related equipment associated with our business.
* Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression.
* Solid professional communication/interface skills with customer field personnel, onsite vendors, and other employees. This role is often the USAC position with the most customer interaction. Excellent customer service and positive communication skills are critical to the success in the FST role.
