ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
Implements training of company or franchise policies and procedures and operational goals and objectives.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries.
Input and retrieve information from the computer including but not limited to: confirmation of guest information, room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, and invoicing and billing of room rates and additional charges, processing debit and credit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment.
May count cash drawers, determine inventory levels, maintain department equipment and supplies and make recommendations or requests and communicate concerns to department supervisor.
Oversees cleanliness and organization of work area.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Under the direction of the Switchboard Program Supervisor, places, answers and transfers local and long-distance calls. Keeps records and performs clerical duties that are necessary to PBX. Update on-call schedules. Handle all unusual occurrences such as fire alarms, maintenance problems and all emergency calls. Make after 5pm and weekend money deposits. Provide liaison service for language interpreters and consumers. Issue and signal portable pagers, cellular pagers and cellular telephones.
Essential Job Functions (EJFs):
Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
