SUMMARY
The HumanResource/Payroll's primary role is responsible for performing humanresource and payroll related duties and works closely with the HumanResource Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process weekly payroll for an average of 220 full-time employees, ensuring humanresource information system records are complete and accurate.
Complete new-employee orientations and training.
Process daily and weekly reconciliation of direct labor hours for financial reporting and payroll accuracy.
Ability to use discretion with highly confidential employee information
Handles first level of employee relations counseling for hourly production employees.
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews.
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, monthly benefit reconciliations and communicating benefit information to employees.
Maintains employee files and record keeping.
Maintains Payroll and HRIS systems.
Knowledge of UKG is strongly preferred
Prepares and responds to assigned reporting requirements and requests for information.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
Assist with assuring that the facility observes Local, State and Federal labor laws and regulations.
Demonstrate commitment to food safety and continuous improvements.
Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Under the direction of the department managers, schedule part-time employees for events using WhenIWork.
Work Forward Madison FC and Madison W League home games and assigned Breese Stevens Field events.
Assisting with continuous hiring efforts throughout the Forward Madison FC season.
Overseeing the clock-in process on event days and working closely with the VP of Finance/Administration to ensure accurate time & attendance reporting for bi-weekly payroll.
Review & correct hourly clock punches, following up with employees or FT staff as needed to get approvals.
Coordinate the bi-weekly distribution of paychecks to part-time staff. Provide information on & process requests for direct deposit to improve this process.
Assist VP of Finance with ad-hoc and recurring reporting projects.
Participate in scheduled Sports Business courses.

Required Skills:

Help create and maintain orientation folders for both domestic and international orientations.
Hand out mail, packages, paychecks, SS Cards, debit cards and cleaning to supplies to students.
All other duties as assigned by management.
