Provide confidential administrative support to the VP of HR and VMC HR Manager, including database maintenance, reporting, and executive-level HR coordination. Assist HR Managers with general and specific HR administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and labor law compliance. Maintain employee records, with a focus on the Valpak Manufacturing Center, including support for Progression Training and other learning programs. 2. Enter new hire training completions into the centralized IT training database. 3. Process unemployment claims in coordination with HR Managers and Generalists. 4. Reconcile benefit claims in partnership with the Benefits Manager. 5. Prepare and submit expense reports as required. 6. Support Culture and employee engagement initiatives, including: Updating “jumbotron” slides and bulletin boards Coordinating engagement, wellness and retention-reward programs Administering VSPE recognition and gift card programs 7. Manage and coordinate all incoming HR inquiries and communications, including: Manage the HR physical mail and the HR Support Email inbox, ensuring timely responses as appropriate. Distribute all internal and external HR-related inquiries to the appropriate team members for action. Complete employment verifications. Process HR department invoices for payment. 8. Collaborate with IT to track and recover equipment from former employees. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Basic knowledge of HR functions and employment law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level required); experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems strongly preferred. High degree of professionalism with the ability to represent company policies while supporting employee needs. 3+ years' experience in a corporate or professional office setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills, including active listening. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Education, Certification & Training: Associate's degree or higher in business or human resources (preferred). 2. HR professional certification (strongly preferred).
