RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as cross functional project support and general subject matter expert (SME) for system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
Works closely with other SMEs, HRIS team members and stakeholders from across the organization to develop proposals and project plans. Provides production support, including researching, troubleshooting, and resolving HRIS problems and performing scheduled activities.
Escalates complex issues to Sr. HRIS Analyst or the HRIS Manager as needed.
Identifies opportunities to improve the user experience utilizing workflows and configurations.
Performs a thorough analysis of proposed changes, its impact on other workstreams, and communicates them to the team, following through until closure.
Maintains the integrity of system data by monitoring, adhering to, and enhancing data governance and business processes.
Works closely with the Human Resources Solution Center (HRSC) and other stakeholders to identify process efficiencies and auditing needs.
In collaboration with the HRIS team, provides input about security roles based on business needs, performs testing, and maintains related documentation.
Collaborates cross-functionally to collect, understand, and translate business needs for system implementation.
Submits corresponding change requests as needed.
Configures and/or tests system to confirm business requirements, prepares testing plan and test scenarios, and assists with training efforts for end users. Creates and maintains documentation of system configuration as needed.
Maintains working knowledge of interfaces and assists in determining interface specifications. Supports HR reporting needs, including gathering requirements, submitting report requests, writing reports, and monitoring report development progress.

Inspects PPE related to the SCBA ensemble to ensure condition of equipment will meet safety requirements and NFPA standards.
Required to check and record hours, oil level and other pertinent data prior to starting up the breathing air system before each shift. Notifies coordinators of the need to remove any equipment or system from service.
Must be proficient in operating fit and flow test equipment and be able to accurately diagnose repair and make adjustments required to maintain equipment to in service status.
Maintains data base and is proficient with SCBA track and other air room data systems including Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
Must be able to import and export data for the purposes of providing information to crib coordinators and deputy director.
Minimum Qualifications\:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Four years' experience as a DFS employee, a firefighter or MA Hazardous Materials Technician or in a fire service leadership position.
Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Speciality Requirement:
Possession of a current Scott Air Supplied Product Technician (Maintenance and Overhaul) Issued by Scott Technical Support.
Preferred Qualifications\:

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to a global IT team focused onprovidingsupport and solutions. As part of a Global IT Team, you will be
Assistingin Maintaining Hardware Equipment
Collecting and Analyzing Network Data & Security Status.
Contribute ideas andfindingnewwaysto innovate using New Technologies.
Test IT product and solution.
Also, you will be supporting end users in ourfast-paced Design Studio, supporting applications such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Bluebeam and many other applications.
Minimal Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion ofan associates / bachelors degree in Information Technology related studies.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
Ability to multi-task multiple tickets and issues.
Good analytical,conceptualand problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identifyappropriate solutions
Competent with Microsoft Products including Office,Outlookand Microsoft Teams.
Create andmaintain Windows Operating Systems.
Once you are here:
Learn to Collaborate with the IT team in maintenance of Hardware,softwareand othersystems.
Configure, assemble, and install workstation and/orperipheralequipment.
Learn to Understand and Navigate Microsoft Server Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Experience thefundamentalsof Network Configuration & Security Controls.
Helpmaintaininventory of IT Assets and Supplies.
