The Senior Coordinator's role will help drive our IT department to function more efficiently and effectively with the goal of maximizing end user satisfaction. This includes overseeing the support of IT related operations in the firm's Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office. Flexible working options available.
Essential Duties:
IT point of contact and escalation point for IT needs associated with the Ft. Lauderdale office (approximately 50 end users).
Asset Management of Ft. Lauderdale office equipment (procure, configure, provisioning, tracking, disposal).
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware and associated documentation.
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
Escalation point for IT service desk issue resolution, provide first contact support of incoming requests when required based on the volume of overall service desk requests.
Monitor progress of open service desk tickets, prioritizing tickets generated by members of the Ft. Lauderdale office to ensure they are assigned and addressed within SLA.
Ability to work directly with vendor support to resolve issues when required.
Communicate announcements as required for maintenance windows, unplanned outages and application deployments.
Contribute to technician knowledgebase as needed.
Build rapport with, and elicit IT related business needs from, business staff and service desk customers and recommend relative prioritization of requests based on business impact/need.
Assist in planning and executing office-specific and firm wide maintenance activities (Windows server security and operating system updates, application, and infrastructure upgrades, etc).
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
Own and lead projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
Provide suggestions/recommendations for continuous improvement, lead the implementation of approved recommendations.
Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable senior manager/director, when required.
Oversee development and dissemination of help sheets, user guides, and FAQ lists for end users.
Ability to work overtime (weekday and/or weekend) and scheduled on-call support rotations during peak seasons.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required. Degree with IT related discipline strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years IT experience, experience working in an onshore/offshore model preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Installs and maintains hardware systems at a high level for students, faculty, and staff to ensure technology resources are properly functioning.
2. Performs advanced repairs and troubleshooting of technology issues at the sites and remotely, to ensure problems are resolved timely.
3. Provides advanced support for the installation, configuration, maintenance of hardware and software for desktops, laptops, wireless and cellular devices, Windows-based servers, peripherals, videoconferencing, LANs, WANs and digital media.
4. Provides advanced support at all facilities including classrooms, offices, clinics, videoconferencing classrooms, and all university locations on campus or off, as required.
5. Resolves issues for students, faculty, and staff encountering challenging hardware, software and other problems relating to technology.
6. Inspects and recommends maintenance of technology equipment housed in university facilities including offices, classrooms, computer labs, and clinics, as assigned.
7. Creates, logs, updates, and resolves technology tickets using appropriate ticketing system in a timely manner.
8. Coordinates the relocation of computers and other technology equipment within university facilities to other locations on and off campus.
9. Coordinates the proper removal and disposal of technology from the university.
10. Completes special projects as assigned.
11. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Working knowledge in the safe use of various tools utilized for technical troubleshooting, repair and support including software and hand-tools.
2. Working knowledge of computer and audiovisual systems, Active Directory, and network.
3. Working knowledge of computer and audiovisual equipment and deployment of associated technology.
4. Computers and Electronics - General knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager of IT, the incumbent is responsible for installing, maintaining and operating all IP and analog audio/visual equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
* The exhibit is conducted in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida for departmental policies and procedures.
* Install, troubleshoot and optimize IP AV devices including Hardware and Software issues.
* Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and install/re-install cable as necessary.
* Provide basic network administration support including VLAN creation.
* Provide assistance with the rollout of AV system hardware and software upgrades and patches as those requirements arise.
* Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on AV system operation and other technical AV issues.
* Collaborate with the Business Analyst, System, and Network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's AV environment.
* Assist in ensuring that customer requests via the ticketing system are managed to closure.
* Troubleshoots malfunctions and/or audio & video shorts, when necessary, perform other duties as assigned.
* Maintains all LCD, LED monitors and displays on the property.
* Controls all volume levels and video content for the property, assists local entertainers with sound before and after their scheduled performance time when needed
* Maintain a clean and organized work area as directed.
* Perform administrative tasks as may be required by local and corporate policy.
* Manage replacement spares through RMA programs to ensure maximum hardware availability and minimum down time related to maintenance issues.
* Perform a variety of tasks as required by sister properties.
* Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree in a computer-related discipline is preferred.
* Minimum of two (2) years' experience in computer hardware support and maintenance or AV systems support and maintenance required. Equivalent technical training and certification may be considered.
* Must possess or acquire A+, QYSY 0 and QSYS1 certification in the first 12 months of employment.
* Experience with digital encoders, Direct TV, and digital audio equipment is a plus.
* Technical knowledge of Windows OS is required. Knowledge of current protocols TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP and DNS required.
* Preferred minimum of two (2) years' experience working with and troubleshooting AV related equipment (projectors, sound, TV's, lighting controls, exc.).
* Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting network AV devices.
* Experience installing wall mounted TV's in a production environment.
* Experience working with the basics of Cisco switches; the ability to configure a VLAN.
