JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, this position will work on designing, developing, modifying, enhancing and supporting multiple information technology systems across the District.This position will work in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) from needs analysis and feasibility to design, implementation, and training on a number of projects simultaneously.This position will serve as an Information Technology Services liaison to other departments as well as external agencies, vendors and consultants.Also, in some cases, these individuals may assume a leadership role and direct the work of other Information Technology staff.

Develops functional system requirements based on customer interviews, system analysis, and technical/operational feasibility analysis.

Ensures that project requirements are being managed, tracked and updated properly.
Identifies opportunities to streamline business processes.

* Disconnect donor after plasmapheresis process is completed per standard operating procedures.
* Maintain proper ratio to ensure donor safety and quality of product.
* Operate the automated plasmapheresis machines including response and evaluation of all machine alarms and alerts, responds to donor adverse events, and documents exceptions.
Product Processing:
* Prompt and sterile collection and storage of plasma product and samples per Standard Operating Procedures.
* Handle tested and untested product, as well as product with unsuitable test results.
* Properly organize samples and product in a walk-in storage freezer per Standard Operating Procedures. · Prepare product and samples for shipments, per Standard Operating Procedures and federal transportation regulations.
* Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and immediately inform appropriate personnel if equipment is not functioning properly. Record variance if applicable.
