This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents' dietary needs while following established menus, recipes, and food safety guidelines. The Cook plays an important role in supporting resident satisfaction and overall quality of care.
Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, portioning, and serving meals; maintaining proper food temperatures; following sanitation and infection control standards; and assisting with kitchen clean-up and inventory as needed. The Cook works closely with dietary staff to ensure meals are delivered on time and in accordance with therapeutic and special diet requirements.
Schedule: Part-time, every other weekend, with opportunity to pick up additional shifts
Wage Range: $21.00 - $26.47 per hour
