The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Drive a culture of 'Safety First' in all tasks and activities.
Lead daily safety meetings with team
Point person for permitting non routine work and for LOTO activities
Lead the daily execution of the 24 hour production plan. This requires short term planning, inventory management, and being able to determine the most efficient way to utilize existing assets.
Interact with carriers and supply chain professionals to ensure on time shipment and delivery of our end product to the customer.
Timely communication of any/all interruptions to production or delays in product delivery.
Work with process orders, batch and blend documents, create shipments, etc. in SAP.
Coordinate product shipments with approved carriers and select and coordinate truckload and LTL carrier pick-ups.
Provide vacation and illness coverage for ProductionSupervisors.
Supervise a work force of union operators, including coaching and discipline.
Help respond and investigate SHE, production and quality related incidents to identify and implement corrective actions.
Assist in generating, revising and training operators on operating procedures.
Assist in new employee training, refresher training and basic safety training.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
High school education
A minimum of 5 years production experience in the chemical industry
Must have supervisory experience
Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); MS Access experience a plus
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are a must
Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
SAP experience a plus
Detail oriented and organized
Must be able to handle multiple projects in a timely manner
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Staff Supervision:

Process employee fingerprint enrollments via the computerized time clock management system (i.e. ABI).
Housekeeping Oversight:
Reviews inventory needs and housekeeping supplies for upcoming events
Manage housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness of the building at all times.

Ensures proper use of all chemicals by Housekeeping staff in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Ensures all equipment is in good working order
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Respond to and resolve any issues or emergencies promptly.

Prepare reports on operations, including event set-up and breakdown, maintenance activities, and housekeeping performance.

Qualifications

TITLE: MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR
* Provide production employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of departmental operations. Provide team leads and production employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of department and facility operations, specifically in Safety, Quality, Delivery, People and Cost.
* Promptly address performance issues.
* Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
* Plan and schedule operations within assigned areas of responsibility.
* Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
* Plan and schedule operations within assigned areas of responsibility including review and approval of personnel schedules, reports, logs, purchasing and repairs. Develop production plans including load sheets, scrap, routers, Axiom, reports, dashboards and work orders. Responsible for NCR, CAR, SOP and cost/efficiency projects including capital budgets and manufacturing improvements.
* Responsible for interfacing with other functions (Sales, MRP, Manufacturing to achieve department and company goals and objectives. This position is accountable for the daily and weekly performance of Safety, Quality, Delivery, People and Cost.

REQUIRED FOR THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR
* Two-year or four- year college degree is preferred. High school diploma required.
* 2+ years' experience in a metal manufacturing/operational environment preferred.
* Working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Prior experience with improving efficiency and operational objectives.
* Practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.
* Excellent verbal and written communications, problem solving and project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring the activities of employees and enforcing conformance to established work practices and methods, (according to Preferred Practices Manual, Accident Prevention Handbook, Safety Specifications and Construction Standards)
Requesting and coordinating the availability of necessary equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required
Coordinating work with other departments and scheduling construction, maintenance, repair, or test work
Demonstrating sound internal and external customer service
Counseling employees, recommending corrective actions required to meet performance standards, and acknowledging good work and work habits
Implementing instruction and training of line employees in the established work practices and methods utilized throughout the department
Administering Company and Regional Absenteeism Management Program and Regional Safety Plan

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years' related work experience in an electrical field is required. Related work experience includes hazard responding, knowledge of construction and maintenance practices, procedures, work methods, materials, equipment, and tools which would be used to determine the resources necessary to perform construction and maintenance work activities
An advanced level of knowledge and experience in operations, repair, and construction of assigned Transmission and Distribution area
Some supervisory experience is preferred
Advanced level knowledge of principles and operation of electric transmission and distribution systems
Able to learn various computer applications (CREWS, SAP, POWERON, GIS) and Microsoft Office
Able to read, alter, and communicate complex prints and specifications to personnel
Able to coach, mentor, engage, and inspire people to excel in their roles

About the Position:
The Exhibit Production Manager assists in the production of museum exhibitions at Heinz History Center museums. This position may be required to lead an exhibit production team with minimal oversight by the Director of Exhibit Production. The Exhibit Production Manager will work from designs generated by in-house designers or designers contracted for this work. In all cases, the Director of Exhibit Production and Exhibit Production Manager will coordinate with designers, curators, and project managers to develop budgets and allocate staff and other resources to ensure project budgets and timelines are met. The Exhibit Production Manager is both a hands-on exhibit fabricator and a team leader. The Exhibit Production Manager is responsible for troubleshooting/maintenance of interactive elements, integration of audio/visual technologies, and installation/maintenance of lighting systems. Working together or on separate teams, the Exhibit Production Manager and Director of Exhibit Production collaborate to make real the vision of project designer and curator, always with an eye to cost effectiveness and efficiency.
The Exhibit Production Manager will understand the process of estimating resources, both financial and staff, necessary to complete a proposed project. The Director of Exhibit Production may assign the Exhibit Production Manager to take the lead on projects, from cost estimating to completion.
The Exhibit Production Manager will assist the Director with managing the Exhibits Production Department and relationships with outside contractors, vendors, members of our installation team, and with personnel at peer institutions. Manage all planning, scheduling and material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Act as communications hub for the team, disseminating pertinent and timely information.
Ensures routine manufacturing functions, as well as special manufacturing needs and repair of warranty product, are scheduled.
Monitor manufacturing flow, using data indicators to schedule workload, ensuring output meets targeted goals. This includes monitoring and signing-off on MDI, KPIs, and the Hour-by-Hour boards and other production metrics, implementing countermeasures, manage checklists, perform safety inspections and audits, conduct manufacturing investigations and perform root cause analysis, etc.
Maintain and boost production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, and work with manufacturing engineers to implement new processes.
Assist in performing hands-on production duties as needed.
Own quality output for the team as a key stakeholder in Eos's quality program.
Ensure team members keep a clean and organized work environment. Immediately address and resolve any clutter or disorganization to avoid errors, loss of productivity, and/or safety incidents.
Models professional behavior and adherence to work rules, as well as the ability and willingness to hold team members accountable to the same behaviors and work rules.
Measure and report out performance metrics.
