Corning's Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ("LCDs") that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Role Purpose
As PMO and Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a variety of programs for US-based businesses under Corning Glass Innovations (CGI), working closely with business leaders and functions, and delivering results that contribute to operational improvement, as well as business growth for CGI and Corning as a whole.
Key Responsibilities
* Advance strategic initiatives in CGI to drive progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Lead CGI's cross functional programs that tackle critical operational issues, establishing project scope and plan, driving timely and rigorous execution through tracking mechanism and collective problem solving, while ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among different functions and at different levels.
* Collaborate with technology community and/or businesses to evaluate market prospects, size of prize of new opportunities, and devise strategies for potential technology commercialization.
* Develop data-based go-to-market, business model, and/or investment strategies for business segments under CGI, helping seniormanagement solve complicated business challenges and realize growth potential.
* Work with businesses, technology community and corporate finance teams to identify incremental growth opportunities, define priorities and strategies.
Experiences/Education - Required
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related required.
* 5+ years of experience working at leading consulting firms and/or multinational corporations (in such roles as strategy, PLM, new business development) in Business-to-Business (B2B) technology industries
* Strong analytic/problem-solving skills with experience in dealing with complex business issues
* A good combination of strategic thinking and operational execution
* Capable of seniormanagement communication & engagement
* Demonstrated leadership in managingproject & people across functions and regions
* Seasoned in technological areas, ability to engage in technology discussions
Experiences/Education - Desired
* MBA from top ranked school is preferred

The range for this position is $123,642 - $211,758. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

Primary Purpose
The Senior Assistant ProjectManager, under the guidance of the ProjectManager, performs technical and administrative functions required to develop and complete the design and construction of projects.
Essential Functions
Read, review, interpret and comprehend plans, specifications, addenda, bid materials, contracts and other related documents and recommends approaches to resolving issues/completing assignments to projectmanager.
Review bid documents, bid advertising, prepare bid summaries, and recommend awards to Procurement.
Observes the installation of the work on a regular or as needed basis, ensuring compliance with the construction documents.
Coordinate the requirements, activities, and work of all trades, testing agencies, design consultants and commissioning consultants.

Consult with code enforcement agencies regarding interpretation and application of building codes and regulations.
Assist in the evaluation of the conditions of buildings and properties and utilization of facilities.
Maintain liaison with customer agencies and assist in the resolution of issues where appropriate.
Manage assigned projects under the direction of the ProjectManager.
