Must be willing to work OT as needed **Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor** The Production Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on all machinery and requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to solve problems in a safe work environment. This position will lead a maintenance team of technicians, working closely with team members to solve machine issues, while keeping operations management appraised of in progress projects that may impact equipment capability and production timelines in a TPM managed environment.

+ Analyze equipment manuals and translate that data into meaningful Preventative Maintenance schedules.
+ Monitor and evaluate all equipment systems for the manufacturing group and make necessary changes for continuous production improvements including but not limited to the modifying and upgrading of equipment.
+ Strong analytical skills and problems solving skills are required
+ Manage Maintenance team labor to fully support operational needs and reduce mechanic overtime
+ Optimize resources while ensuring finished product meet specifications and per the budgeted production standards and in accordance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
+ Ensure accuracy of all aspects of the master sanitation schedule are maintained and updated as new methods become available.
+ Monitor and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures.
+ Work with planners to schedule work/jobs.
+ Monitor production schedules and requirements in terms of micro quality, quantity, & safety.
+ Write, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
+ Supervise accurate and timely reporting of work in process and completes all relevant paperwork and management reporting.
+ Work within approved operating expense budget, ensure sufficient operating supplies and capital equipment are available for department personnel to produce product to schedule. Recommend corrections to budget as production needs require.
+ Manage processes to assure sanitation and micro biological specifications, quality and safety standards are maintained.
+ Establish programs to control and improve processes. Assure that control measures are reported as required.
+ Investigate and diagnoses microbiological and sanitation issues in a timely manner. Ensure that a corrective action is obtained and maintained.
+ Provide training and cross training to assure that all aspects are met within budget, product specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.
+ Ensure compliance with Food Safety.
+ Complete other duties according to changing business needs
+ Establish clear ownership for project tasks within the team and a clear schedule for when each task will be performed. Ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
+ Oversee and support the installation of facility/project equipment.
+ Use TPM practices to optimize work processes, adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability, and minimize service and quality incidents.

**Requirements:**

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting Production and Operational needs while focusing on problem solving, troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, stamping presses, ancillary equipment, feedline machines, scales and all support equipment. You will directly oversee the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Technicians by scheduling work, coaching and mentoring team members and identifying training opportunities to improve the skill set of those within the department across multiple shifts. Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Leadership and Team Oversight (50%)
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team. Ensuring the production equipment, machinery, and facilities are properly maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.
Tasks include scheduling, coordinating and assigning work orders (WOs) and preventative maintenance (PMs) to technicians through a CMMS.
Scheduling equipment repairs and production downtime in collaboration with production planning and productions teams.
Review documentation of completed tasks and maintenance history for accuracy.
Manage ordering spare parts and inventory levels with collaboration from our Maintenance and Repair Operations team (MRO).
Help to ensure tools and equipment are available and in good shape.
Communicate and report on maintenance metrics, KPIs, and equipment downtime issues to upper management.
Liaise with other departments; production, engineering, shipping, etc. as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
Equipment Maintenance and Reliability (30%)
Repair, install, troubleshoot, start-up, and provide technical maintenance on all existing and new plant/facility equipment.
Integrate existing and new equipment, as needed.
Identify, maintain, and troubleshoot machines and equipment.
Communicate technical issues to maintenance, facilities and operations management.
Training and Continuous Improvement (20%)
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations on technicians.
Find training opportunities on any additional skills to improve the department.
Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Support capital projects and equipment installations.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5 years of related experience in industrial maintenance.

Teamwork: Maintain a collaborative approach in dealing with other Simpson Strong-Tie employees.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required.
Maintenance knowledge: Have experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors, sortation systems, and large manufacturing equipment within an IACS (Industrial Automation Controls System). Familiarity with Stamping Presses and related equipment is preferred.
Technology: Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Proficient with AutoCAD. Experience with Smartsheet is preferred. Ability to learn new software including, but not limited to, CMMS.
Project management skills. Ability to effectively manage and participate in large scale projects involving installing new equipment, relocating existing equipment. Moving equipment such as stamping presses, feeders, straighteners, reels, ancillary equipment, etc.
Safety: Strongly understand and ensure compliance with the NFPA 70E-Electrical Safety in the Workplace, NFPA 70 (NEC), and OSHA Standards. Help to improve the safety culture.
Mathematics: Knowledge of advanced arithmetic, algebra, geometry.
Focus and Results: The ability to concentrate on a task over time without being distracted.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the on-site team in managing all maintenance-related repairs and upkeep of the property.
Manage the make ready process to ensure apartments are prepared for move-in in a timely fashion.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Dollar Shave Club is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and optimize the performance of all on-site equipment and machinery. Maintenance Supervisor
Swimming pool maintenance supervisor job in Whitehall, OH
Do you have at least 4 years of on-site maintenance work experience in Multi-Family/Residential properties and at least 1 year of supervisory experience? As Maintenance Supervisor at Alexander Hamilton Plaza Apartments in Columbus, Ohio you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and grounds personnel, overseeing maintenance and preventative maintenance needs, working with vendors, prepping apartments for make-ready turns, completing work service requests, and preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC systems. HVAC Certification is REQUIRED for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee other maintenance and grounds personnel.
* Oversee ongoing maintenance needs, including preventative maintenance and repairs, etc.
* Working with the vendors for contracted services, including capital improvement projects.
* Prepping apartments for make-ready turns
* General maintenance duties as necessary
* On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls
* Snow removal and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
* Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems
* Completing work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, light electrical
Qualifications:
* Have complete grasp of on-site maintenance management.
* 4 -5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties and at least 1-2 years in a supervisor capacity.
* Have detailed knowledge of make ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
* HVAC certification is a plus.
* Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and be able to travel to other properties, if needed.
* Must have basic set of tools.
* Be responsible and reliable.
* Have a positive, get the job done attitude.
