Key Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Technical Support Specialist - Administrative/Business (PC103) Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFP192242R Technical Support (Administrative/Business Services) and:
Provide a variety of administrative, technical, and staff support services to the Project Integration Department.
Support the control and implementation of organizational objectives.
Assist with the development and implementation of projects, programs, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
May serve as liaison with others regarding activities related to objectives, planning, and analysis of issues.
Follow safety and security procedures.
Specific Tasks/Activities:
Technical support for the SRR Project Integration Department to provide support to include but not limited to the Estimating and the Central Project Controls department.

Create electronic (pdf) and hardcopy reports and distribute in accordance with reporting requirements, e.g. weekly Procurement Report, weekly trend report, scheduling (P6) reports, Cobra cost processor reports and others as necessary to support Project Controls reporting requirements
Develop, format, and distribute Project Directives, Work Authorization, and Integrated Planning, Accountability, and Budgeting System (IPABS) reports.
Support the EVMS and PMO Compliance Managers with coordination and planning of training, required reading and test giving. Also, provide procedure, system description and guidance document development and revision support.
Support the SRR Risk Management team with general administrative support including risk document updating, revisions and editing. This may include meeting coordination, facilitating and scheduling.
Support the Estimating team with general administrative activities, including updating, editing, and revising the Estimating Procedure Manual sections, Desktop Guides, and other documents.
Support Estimating by maintaining supplies and anticipate re-ordering, arranging for repair or replacement of equipment and computers.
Support the technical formation of updated material pricing data for insertion into the Material Pricing Database, provide quality checks of the data prepared by Estimators.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Milliken Kingsley Plant is a world class air-jet weaving operation in Thomson, Georgia. We weave fabric for end products such as duct tape, medical tape, uniforms, military, home furnishings, and industrial products.
The Weave Support Associate supports the Weave Department by ensuring efficient material movement between filling yarn storage, weave machine and inspection. The support associate works closely with the team to ensure filling yarn inventory on loom is maintained at optimum levels and cloth rolls are doffed at the optimum length. The Weave Support Associate typically works on a rotating 8-hour shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform doffs. (Properly identify cloth rolls, remove cloth rolls from loom, and take to appropriate area in inspection. Obtain correct ticket and match to roll.)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warp Services Team supports the weaving department by hauling warps, tying warps, and hanging new patterns. The team also works to repair or eliminate warp yarn quality issues. The Warp Services Associate works closely with the team to ensure weave machine downtime is held to a minimum. The Warp Services Senior Operator typically works on a rotating 8-hour shift.

Job Description
The purpose of this position is to plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is well suited to develop broader project management knowledge as well as industry specific experience.
* Perform basic project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems
* Support efforts by technical disciplines, vendors and third-party design firms and other outside entities to ensure integrated and complete designs meet project requirements and contractual obligations
* Work closely with third-party design firms and other outside entities as it relates to Configuration Management, with focus on driving Fluor processes and procedures requirements, as well as meeting the needs of the E/P/C tools used on the project
* Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans
* Embrace and digest NQA-1 and other nuclear industry standards, and project established procedures and processes, through provided training and mentoring• Support the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
* Support project quality audits
* Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
* Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
* Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
* Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship
* E/P/C experience: Engineering and/or Construction (Project Engineer II or III)
* Has had a broad exposure to Engineering, beyond their own degree.
* Nuclear industry experience (coming from other Government experience, but I would accept them coming from Commercial side of Nuclear industry). 6 years or as little as 4 years
* Has fulfilled role of CM specialist driving (the 5 key elements of) CM across the various groups to ensure project execution success.
* Good, solid knowledge of typical software/systems tools used in our industry.
* Known to works outside own boundaries of responsibilities to support other group(s); assisting / guiding them until they take ownership of CM.
* Has spotted issues as they would arise, has communicated and helped resolve them.
* Works independently or as part of team to solve project challenges.
* Can engage / motivate others to focus on change impacts/effects that require CM.
* Has a mindset of working proactively (vs. reactively).
Preferred Qualifications
* Has given presentations of the subject of CM to educate others / groups (internal or external).
* Knows Fluor software/systems tools used by Mission Solutions.
* Previous experience assisting the Quality group. Or, Auditor function, reporting on gaps/deficiencies.
* Previous experience working closely with the Document Management group.
* Previous experience with Change Management (PCN / ECN / DCN / FDN) or in Risk Management, resulting in being intimately involved following the impacts of changes across functions and disciplines.
* PMP credential (this would indicate the individual embraces the project wholistically).
