Phase 1: Construction Management (Initial 12-24 Months) Responsibilities: Oversee field construction of fiber optic networks, ensure work is on schedule, meets specifications, and is documented accurately. Act as the primary liaison with construction contractors; conduct regular job site inspections. Review and track permits, contractor deliverables, and inspection reports. Coordinate with project manager, construction contractors, and permitting consultants to resolve field issues and authorize changes. Maintain accurate field documentation and issue regular updates to internal stakeholders. Phase 2: Field Operations & Maintenance (Permanent Role) Responsibilities: Support ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs for communications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables and network equipment. Respond to outages, conduct site inspections, troubleshoot network issues, and coordinate timely resolutions. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance plans and safety procedures. Generate technical reports, analyze system data, and contribute to operational improvements. Remain available for on-call response as needed, including after-hours support.
