+ Assists coding manager with scheduling, payroll, work queue assignment, and physician education. (25%)
+ Assists with production coding when and where needed. (20%)
+ Builds strong relations and facilitates productive communication between key stakeholders and core support departments. Collaborates with others to develop and implement action plans to resolve errors. (10%)

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum**
+ Associates Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of Associate's degree
+ 3 years experience as a production coder related to the coding team being supervised which includes assigning ICD-10-CM codes, ICD-10-PCS codes (inpatient), CPT/HCPCS codes.
+ Excellent organizational and project management skills
+ 1 year in a leadership type role or a similar role in oversight of staff and/or processes
+ Professional Coding Certification

Full-time position available to supervise daily functions of the clinical support staff, providing guidance in relation to daily activity and operations, working collaboratively with physicians and staff to facilitate patient care and efficiency. Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees. Ensures registration and pre-registration duties are completed daily. Provides training to staff. Monitors daily productivity and communicates to staff.
Provides and reviews reporting to track department performance in key metrics including point of service, wait times, overtime, productivity, and others as necessary. Report needs may be daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as requested.
Assigns and coordinates staff schedule, including scheduling rotation, time off, and call-offs as necessary. Ensures that department coordinates schedule in accordance with organizational policies. Minimizes overtime while maximizing productivity.

On-call rotation which includes days, nights, and weekends as necessary. While performing on-call duties, the Supervisor may be required to provide administrative and educational guidance to staff via telephone. If necessary, the Supervisor may be required to fill in for call-offs, staffing issues, or unexpected volumes.
Assists with developing department processes and procedures. Conducts staff training, education, and development. Conducts audits to ensure acceptable performance, and provides continual coaching and education as necessary.

Responsible for supervising direct reports who provide assistance, services, resources, referrals, and consultation on various Non-Medical Counseling (NMC)/Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and work/life issues to military service members and their families. Demonstrates an ability to train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of direct reports. Guides direct reports to effectively handle and manage high-risk calls with professionalism and in accordance with established protocols. Maintains the highest degree of sensitivity, compassion, and respect for Service members and their families.

+ Ensures performance guarantees are met or exceeded. Interfaces with external and internal customers to ensure optimal efficiency of service

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in social work and Family Therapy, Counseling, or other human services field
+ Unrestricted state Licensure to practice independently (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required. Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) preferred.
+ Minimum 3 years post-graduate work experience in counseling, social work, and mental health services plus additional minimum of 3 years' experience in supervisory or leadership position. Prior experience working with military and/or Veterans populations preferred. Military spouse or family member experience in a military community highly desirable

+ Knowledge of mandated procedures for child and elder abuse situations
+ Familiarity in core services areas of child development, parenting, adoption, education, and service for older adults
