Review RCPs, floor plans, and related documentation to assess technical and labor requirements.
Translate customer requirements into effective design-build system solutions.
Assist Sales with developing Scope of Work documents and proposal deliverables.
Identify and communicate technical or logistical challenges for upcoming projects.
Obtain and review electronic plans from engineers, architects, or owners.
Create engineered drawings (AutoCAD or similar), record drawings, and O&M manuals as required by project specifications.
Participate in internal design review meetings with Project Managers.
Support project turnover meetings between sales and project teams, providing all relevant documentation and programming graphics.
Generate complete BOMs for procurement and coordinate material purchasing needs.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in electronic security design or estimating preferred.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and proposal software (e.g., WeSuite).
Strong understanding of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
