What You'll Do * Supervise production operators during assigned 12-hour rotating shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while meeting daily production schedules and quality targets. * Lead shift execution across all areas of production, proactively addressing abnormal conditions, troubleshooting issues, and initiating corrective actions to maintain consistent performance. * Establish shift-level performance expectations and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. * Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding priorities, staffing needs, performance trends, and operational challenges. * Initiate work notifications in SAP, participate in Management of Change (MOC) activities, and support incident investigations as required. * Ensure accurate completion of production reports, including downtime, efficiencies, counts, and other data required by SOPs. * Track production efficiencies, rework, and unfavorable trends, communicating results to teams and driving continuous improvement actions. * Supervise all aspects of employee performance including training, coaching, discipline, and development in a union manufacturing environment. * Promote a strong safety culture by maintaining strict compliance with EHS requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and housekeeping standards. * Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to support operational goals and site performance. What You'll Bring * High School Diploma or GED required. * 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (chemical manufacturing preferred). * Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve production and safety objectives in a fast-paced operation. * Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, and problem-solving methodologies * Experience using computerized systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office; ability to learn additional plant systems. * Proven communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and leadership levels. * Safety-driven mindset with experience mentoring and developing employees. * Ability to respond with urgency and adaptability in a 24/7 operating environment. * Must be able to wear respiratory protective equipment (including SCBA) during emergency situations. * Ability to ascend stairs up to approximately 80 feet in height. * Ability to pass required physical and drug testing. Review and validate tools for monitoring and ordering catalyst and chemicals needed to manage the facility. Maintain energy balance models. Develop tools to quantify facility emissions to support environmental and compliance reporting. Review and validate the daily Production status reports depicting all critical information and data for Production Management. This includes Inlet Feed Gas measurement and allocation, Power Consumption, LNG/NGL Production, Emissions and Waste measurements, and Efficiency monitoring. Develop and maintain loss accounting summaries to allow for identification or categorization of facility production losses. Review and validation of Production performance summaries for each process unit summarizing data on total production, capacity utilization, operating reliability, unit efficiency, production loss categories and quantities, and energy utilization. Thoroughly understand the technical Management of Change process and utilize it in support of facility changes. Participate in regulatory agency audits. Support procedure development and training related to capital projects, temporary or new modes of operation, and compliance. Work with Engineering and Construction departments as needed to assure O & M interests are represented on major projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering A Professional Engineer's (PE) License or equivalent CEng license is preferred Ten to Fifteen (10-15) years demonstrable experience as a Production Engineer in an LNG liquefaction facility is required with a solid understanding of feed gas pre-treatment, NGL/Condensate management and Storage and loading applications. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. Gather the required assumptions on LNG Trains performance and provide timely input to the Forecast and Annual Delivery Plan process. Support the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) process and provide all the required input and analysis as required Support the development of Integrated Production Excellence standards and procedures. Capture Lessons Learned from the CP Facility and provide input to other Venture Global LNG projects / sites as required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering required Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Production Engineer with a demonstrated track record of Production performance improvement. Experience in pre-treatment required Experience supporting commissioning activities Oil and Gas experience is required, with strong preference in LNG, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable. What You'll Be Doing Supervise shift production operators to ensure scheduled workflow, and production objectives are met. Responsible for supervising production activities to achieve production rates that meet or exceed standards, including communicating daily with Production Manager on job priorities/needs. Participate in improving operating efficiencies, reducing costs, training as needed, and performing timely corrective actions. Initiate work notifications in SAP, participate in Management of Change (MOC) and incident investigations as required. Ensures accurate records and production reports and counts, machine speeds, line down time and other data called out in SOPs. Supervises all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training and discipline within the department. Ensures that duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans. Keeps production standards up to date. Track efficiencies and rework, and communicates this information to line teams.
