Our client is seeking an IT Systems Support Analyst to serve as the front line of technical support for internal users. This role is hands-on, people-facing, and critical to keeping daily operations running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot issues, manage service tickets, and support a wide range of hardware, software, and network systems in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Log, prioritize, and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Provide in-person, phone, and email support to end users
Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and common enterprise applications
Manage new user onboarding and employee offboarding
Perform routine software updates, patches, and device replacements
Assist with mobile device management (MDM)
Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues when needed
Document solutions, develop troubleshooting checklists, and recommend preventative improvements
Required Qualifications

Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS preferred)

The Bison Technician & Preserve Assistant performs and participates in preserve operations, maintenance and management within the Grand River Grassland project area, including Dunn Ranch Prairie, Little Creek Farm, and Pawnee Prairie. Primary responsibilities will involve bison management, equipment maintenance, installing or maintaining fencing, boundary posting, restoring natural areas through tree and brush cutting, assisting with ecological burning activities, organization and maintenance of facilities, cattle grazing, and overall project functions, as assigned.
The Manager is responsible for the health, safety, and ecological integration of a managed bison herd on a restored native prairie. The person in this role will assist with managing population dynamics, veterinary care, grazing management, etc. to ensure the bison contribute positively to the preserve's conservation goals. They may maintain fences, water systems, corrals, or other infrastructure. The Manager maintains preserve areas frequented by the visiting public and supports educational programs and tours. They may assist with the restoration of the prairie through the removal of exotic species and/or the planting of native species.
Within this position you may provide oversight to other employees as assigned as well as work both individually and as a group to complete tasks in a timely manner. You may work in variable weather conditions, at remote locations, on difficult and hazardous terrain, and under physically demanding circumstances. Salary Information:

Specific Responsibilities:
Assist with repair and replacement of auto glass according to specified procedures

Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required

Perform routine specimen preparation which involves cutting various tissue types and mounting them on glass slides for examination under the microscope by the pathologist.
Nationally certified histotechnician experienced in receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the pathologist. Able to perform complex histologic procedures, recognize deviations from expected results, and analyze and correct problems using scientific principles learned from NAACLS training and experience.
Skill Requirements:
Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment
Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are required to collect and prepare specimens
Lab safety and infection prevention is of paramount importance
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Remove tissue from a preservative solution, remove water from the sample, and replace it with paraffin wax
Embed sample in a larger block of wax to prepare it for slicing before mounting it on a microtome
Slice or section the sample then stain with special dyes and mount on a slide for viewing with a microscope

This opportunity is hosted by ERDCWERX and JSU's Technology Transfer Office at the Mississippi Center for Innovation and Technology (MCITy) in Vicksburg, MS. Recent graduates (or seniors set to graduate by May 2026) from Mississippi Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are encouraged to apply.
Participants of this compensated program will gain insights into the fast-growing field of technology transfer and how patented innovations can be introduced to the marketplace. Benefits include an introduction to and direct participation in strategic planning and market development for STEM-based innovation. This interdisciplinary program will provide valuable mentorship and real-world exposure to how business and management skills apply to technology transfer processes that result in technology commercialization. Fellows will become acquainted with the mission and collaboration goals of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) and other federal entities.
Fellows will benefit from direct experience with the business, science, and legal aspects of technology transfer, which are valuable assets in today's job market. Fellows will gain exposure to methods in use by federal government, academia, and industry in the commercialization of innovative technologies critical for our nation's military and economic strength. Topics include market analysis, research and promotion of innovative technologies, intellectual property protection and licensing practices, and developing business relationships.
This Fellowship is designed to identify and support exceptional talent and enhance their employment prospects by increasing their expertise and ability to contribute to STEM-related growth in the U.S. economy. The timeline for the position is January 20, 2026-April 16, 2026.

Contribute to marketing and market research strategies that result in targeted outreach and generate interest in patent commercialization
Connect with licensing prospects in the promotion of ERDC patents and support patent license applications
Become familiar with basic intellectual property terminology as well as standard practices and terms associated with certain types of licensing agreements
Complete a capstone project, with support from ERDCWERX and other mentors, that includes the creation of a commercialization plan for a selected ERDC patent
Candidate Requirements
