What You Will Be Doing:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide frontline technical support, helping employees resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly and efficiently. This role serves as the first point of contact for IT-related problems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will report to the IS&T Operations Manager, and this is an onsite role located at our Everett office.
* Respond to IT service requests via phone, email, or ticketing systems
* Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
* Install, configure, and support operating systems (Windows, mac OS, Linux) and applications (Microsoft Office, email clients, collaboration tools)
* Assist with password resets, user account provisioning, and access permissions
* Record issues, resolutions, and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams
* Provide clear communication and maintain a professional, helpful attitude with end users
* Perform routine updates, patches, and preventive maintenance tasks
Required Skills:
* 5+ years of IT support experience
* Technical knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and common enterprise applications
* Problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly identify issues and apply logical troubleshooting steps
* Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication to explain solutions clearly to non-technical users
* Customer service orientation: Patience and empathy when assisting users
* Certifications (preferred): CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician

What's Involved in Working as a Behavior Technician / ABA Therapy Assistant with ORL:
As one of the most well-established agencies in the Seattle area, ORL provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and related disabilities. Our Behavior Technicians provide these services in clients' homes, schools, and local community settings.
In each child's ABA therapy program, our Behavior Technicians help children and teens improve their communication and language skills, teach them to socialize and play, help them gain greater levels of independence, and assist them as they develop the skills they need to determine and shape their own futures.
By providing high quality ABA therapy services, our Behavior Technicians help clients learn skills that put them on a path toward living fuller and more engaging lives. ProSidian Seeks a Technical Assistant (General Clerk III) - HAB | Richland, WA - GSSC (Full-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford - SCA Code: 01113. This service supports Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure Sector clients and ProSidian Team Members work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Hanford Advisory Board (HAB or Board) Facilitation Support and OBO The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office. These general support services support The HAB, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Site Specific Advisory Board. The HAB is a broadly representative body consisting of a balanced mix of diverse interests that are affected by Hanford environmental restoration and waste management issues.
There are 32 board members (each with one to two alternates) from Washington, Oregon and Idaho representing local and regional interests. The Board was created in 1994 by the DOE, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington State Department of Ecology (Tri-Party Agreement [TPA] agencies) to advise agencies on selected major policy issues related to Hanford cleanup. The TPA, or Hanford Federal Facility Agreement and Consent Order, provides a cleanup schedule to bring the Hanford Site into compliance with state and federal environmental laws.
The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office, is in need of general support services to support the Hanford Advisory Board for six issue-based standing committees: 1) Executive Issues Committee; 2) Tank Waste; 3) River & Plateau; 4) Health, Safety, & Environmental Protection; 5) Budgets & Contracts; and 6) Public Involvement and Communications. Each of the committees may meet up to twice per fiscal year quarter (i.e. around 24 total meetings per year) dependent on the required workload of the HAB. The Lab Assistant Lead provides leadership primarily to the pre-analytical staff in the clinical laboratory. This area includes receiving, processing, and distributing routine and stat specimens for analytical testing, as well as phlebotomy. **What you'll contribute:**
_Responsible for smooth day-to-day operations in the laboratory processing area:_
+ Plans, organizes, and assigns staff work assignments and training to maintain a smooth workflow regardless of workload.
+ Calls staff in to work during low or critical staffing as needed.
+ Communicates with the supervisor concerning the lab's operational status, training needs, personnel issues, and staff concerns.
+ Works with manager/supervisor to review workplace procedures and policies.
+ Reports issues or concerns from other laboratory divisions or hospital staff through hc1 or other reporting mechanisms.
+ Must be able to perform tasks on all benches in processing areas to oversee and fill in on all benches whenever needed during short staffing periods.
+ Performs limited test setup and reporting as required.
+ Perform routine benchwork to effectively oversee staff, making process improvements, and fill in during short staffing.
+ Perform other duties as required or as assigned by supervisor or manager.
_Problem Resolution:_
+ Solves specimen problems promptly, thoroughly, and accurately, providing appropriate documentation for manager/supervisor review.
+ Makes constructive suggestions for improvements in the laboratory and staffing distribution.
+ Keeps laboratory staff informed regarding specimen and/or handling problems or procedural changes.
_Training of New Staff and Continued Training of Current Employees:_
+ Oversees training of new staff to ensure that training is complete and documented on time.
+ Updates and provides training materials.
+ Works with supervisor to perform, assess, and document competency evaluations of current employees in MediaLab.
+ Informs staff about continuing education opportunities.
_Safe Work Practices and Responsibilities:_
+ Directs staff to ensure the workplace is clean, neat, and professional in appearance.
+ Oversees and ensures that biohazardous precautions are always followed, including the disposal of biohazard waste in a timely manner.
+ Wears personal protective equipment and ensures staff properly use personal protective equipment as required.
_Computer/Application Functions:_
+ Performs computer functions required for completion of tasks and acts as a resource to others.
+ Ensures that specimen processing runs smoothly during scheduled and unscheduled computer downtimes.
+ Understands how to use the Laboratory Information System (LIS), PuTTY, Epic/Beaker (HIS), Hc1, OnBase, MediaLab and Sunquest Collect for problem resolution.
_Documentation:_
+ Ensures that staff follow established departmental policies and division-specific processes and guidelines.
+ Integrates new or revised processes into the workplace.
+ Authors new guidelines and job aids under the direction of the manager/supervisor.
+ Performs a biennial review of current documentation per CAP requirements.
_Confidentiality:_
+ Maintains patient confidentiality regarding all written, verbal, and computerized patient information per UW Medicine requirements.
+ Maintains confidentiality regarding staff and personnel issues.
_Other Miscellaneous Duties:_
+ Reports equipment and/or facility problems promptly and provides adequate notice to staff.
+ Ensures temperatures are monitored daily and takes corrective action in case of equipment failure.
+ Provides support to the department to ensure we have adequate supplies and tools for the staff to do their job.
+ Maintains and/or notifies manager/supervisor of supply inventory needs; orders as needed.
+ Provides safety checks of equipment, reagents or bench practices as needed.
_Specialized Roles:_
+ Under the direction of a manager and/or supervisor, may serve in several other specialized roles.
**What you'll need:**
+ High school graduation or equivalent AND three (3) years of chemical, clinical, or public health laboratory experience or equivalent education/experience.
+ Phlebotomy course or current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification (MA-P) with the Washington State Department of Health. If you do not have the MA-P, you must obtain the certification within 90 days of your start date.
**Desired qualifications:**
+ Associate or bachelor's degree in science.
+ Experience in a major medical hospital laboratory.
+ Experience with electronic health record (EHR) information systems.
+ Experience with Laboratory Information System(s) (LIS).

Key Responsibilities
Assist lead and senior technicians with job setup, equipment placement, and cleanup
