Resolve incidents and service requests. Ensure all tickets are captured in our Helpdesk System.

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Plans, organizes, and directs KDOC central office records, Customer Service, and KDOC Central Repository activities. Reviews current record's office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and eliminate backlog of paper documents. Works closely with the KDOC's records personnel while managing all Records IT functions throughout the Department. Duties include: Supporting IBM Content Manager along with Kofax Ascent Capture client software to include maintenance, security and fielding the system to Facilities and Field Service offices. Evaluating software and hardware to support records systems, while meeting with vendors and preparing cost estimates, Help Desk supervision and support.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate and direct records activities at Central Office and within the KDOC Repository. Work with other KDOC staff members on projects related to Document Imaging, as well as other KDOC records personnel while managing the records functions throughout KDOC. Ensure all features related to electronic Inmate Document Imaging System are functioning properly, while serving as the primary resource for issues related to access and information retrieval.
Supervision and Backup responsibilities for the Department's Customer Service Division. Will assist in taking calls when help desk staff are out of office or in periods of higher volume.
Responsible for configuration and support of the Content Manager software being used for retrieval of Inmate Document images throughout KDOC. Manage the configuration and fielding of all KDOC scanning station installs.
Provides supervision of the records management division of the department.
Remain current on department policy and procedures pertaining to paper and electronic records management. Assists with 'records custodian' duties as needed while ensuring proper retention and archival policies are being enforced Department wide.
Works with software and hardware vendors while evaluating new and updated electronic document imaging options, to include all facets of the bid and purchase process.
Ensure Document Imaging users maintain the proper level of viewing security.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and two years advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to do scripting.
1 year of experience in an IT related field.
1 year experience Maintaining a Document Management System.
Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
