About the Role

Position Summary: The IT Helpdesk Analyst provides support to the business. The Helpdesk Analyst role is to provide on-demand IT technical assistance for multiple systems and hardware while being customer-oriented to ensure customer success. SUMMARY
This position is a Network Operations Technician II position working with the Network Operations department. This role will primarily be responsible for installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting problems of network equipment and circuits. This includes fiber, transport equipment, and all critical infrastructures within. This technician will also work directly with the engineering staff, doing a variety of tasks related to network operations, projects, and maintenance, including circuit provisioning, maintenance & testing (DS1, DS3, SONET, DWDM), test equipment, telecommunications equipment installation, and acceptance.
POSITION SCHEDULE AND ONSITE REQUIREMENTS
This is a direct-hire, full-time, on-site position located at either our Chapel Hill, TN, Murfreesboro, TN, or Franklin, TN, location. The schedule for this role is Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, after the initial 90-day training period.
During the 90-day training period, the position will report to our Chapel Hill, TN location, and the schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs customer and network troubles.
Removes and replaces defective equipment, tracks spares, and ensures repair.
Provides support to external departments in the assignment and troubleshooting of facilities.
Assists with trouble resolution, including generating packet captures for both network and customer-specific issues.
Provides support in single-mode, multi-mode, fiber optic, and CAT5/6 cabling.
Installs, provisions, tests, and maintains SONET/Ethernet services, DWDM equipment, SONET equipment, CPE equipment, GPON Access equipment, and Data Services.
Operates and maintains tools, test sets, ODTRs, T-Berd, digital multiplexers, channel banks, circuit termination equipment, AC, and DC power equipment
Performs preventive/scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipment and on the critical infrastructure, including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, high-voltage electrical systems, and DC Power Plants
Compiles and maintains records and documentation as needed.
Provides a high level of customer service and assists with installation and troubleshooting for enterprise and large business customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years' experience working with Installation, Test, and Turn-up of a variety of Telecommunications equipment, including, but not limited to, SONET, DWDM, Routers, and Ethernet Switches
CCNA or JNCIA certifications are preferred.
Some technical evaluation and fundamental judgment are required while building an internal and external network.

Perform basic network diagnostics (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
Use PowerShell, Terminal, or Command Line for routine tasks
Support in-car systems, MDTs, patrol workstations, and shared kiosks
Assist with mobile device management (iOS/Android), device enrollment, and security policies
Maintain compliance with CJIS Security Policy for handling Criminal Justice Information
Log work performed, update documentation, and follow helpdesk best practices
Assist with inventory management, hardware lifecycle, and preventative maintenance
Visit Sheriff's Office and county sites to provide onsite technical support
Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support when needed
Minimum Qualifications
Vocational/Technical degree (or currently enrolled) in Information Systems, Computer Operations, Networking, or related field
One (1) year of IT experience in computer operations, maintenance, or PC troubleshooting
Equivalent education/experience combinations may be considered
Valid Tennessee driver's license required
Ability to work scheduled hours, site visits, and on-call rotations

Join us as a Client Service Technician, where you'll put your love of science to work in the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.
What you'll do
* Coordinate and perform sample-related activities, including shipping and receiving, processing and administration
* Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
* Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices
What you'll bring
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
* Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, walk throughout the campus, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace).
* Ability to lift weights up to about 20-30 lbs
