Will have ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for tasks like inspecting equipment, performing, and accessing low storage areas etc.
Standing and sitting, for extended periods during inspections or maintenance tasks, as well as sit for desk work and administrative duties

Primary Function:
The Administrative Assistant will work from the Seattle field office and report to the Program Manager. The successful candidate will support field and management staff working under the NPOP contract for the Alaska Fisheries Science Center. They will assist with reports and file management for other AIS contracts as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Track and reconcile observer hotel stays and charges.
* Track and ensure observer certification requirements are up to date. (CPR/First Aid, physicals, REAL ID's, contact info, and observer certification)
* Track gear inventory in Seattle and Alaska offices. Order more gear and repair gear under the direction of the manager. Issue gear to observers.
* Contacting inactive and active employees about scheduling work deployments according to field effort needs.
* Enroll observers into appropriate training/briefings under the direction of the manager by completing briefing forms and registration packets.
* Create AIS Orientation schedules for observers in training for Manager review. Send meeting notifications to observers. Participate in meetings as requested.
* Facilitating the delivery and replacement of equipment and personal items that might be lost or damaged during deployment.
* Conduct Blakeley House Orientation and Tour for new employees. Assist in maintaining property, and keeping house stocked with supplies.
* Receiving calls in support of ODDS, updating the observer tracker, and other relevant work products.
* Forwarding the field phone as necessary. Updating Ring Central call rules per the Call Center schedule created by the Manager.
* Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and reports. This includes data quality scores for observers that received an NMFS evaluation.
* Provide transportation to observers in Seattle.
* Assist with other reports and tracking as needed.

The Foreclosure Assistant will be responsible for processing and reviewing non-judicial foreclosure files. Knowledge of foreclosure process and understanding of title review is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a high volume work environment and will have the ability to adapt to change easily.

The Inpatient Float APP team is composed of licensed physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are skilled and trained to work across multiple services at Harborview (currently including General Surgery, Medicine Polytrauma Service, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, & Burns). Float APPs possess the ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and provide comprehensive care. They play a critical role, filling in when there are staffing shortages, leaves and fluctuating demands. Work is performed 7 days a week with general independence and decision-making responsibility under the general guidance of the attending physicians or fellows, lead APP and APP assistant director. Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Practice high quality evidence-based medicine within the scope of a licensed APP in the inpatient acute care setting including:
- Rotating among inpatient services including but not limited to General Surgery, Medicine Polytrauma Service, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, & Burns
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute & chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Perform procedures within one's scope and training as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a cooperative atmosphere that promotes effective communication and teamwork

- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

The Role:
The Administrative Assistant 2's primary responsibility is to provide complex administrative support to the Associate Vice President of Student Engagement and Success, to the Office of the Vice President of Student Engagement and Success and the SES Executive Directors, as needed. Job Duties
Administrative Support:
* Administrative support to Executive Assistant, Associate Vice President of Student Engagement and Success, and Executive Directors of SES as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing the AVP's calendar, drafting correspondences, filing, reports, and special projects.
* Consistently and competently updates websites of SES to maintain information and provide the most up-to-date
* Oversees the incoming telephone calls to the Office of the VP of Student Engagement & Success ensuring inquiries by students and guests are properly addressed and handled and referred to the correct department or staff member.
* Retrieve, screen, and distribute mail and messages, office supplies, and other materials for SES staff and other offices.
* Maintains files and records in the administrative area. Assists with tracking of dated material, correspondence and pending files and assists with record retention policies.
* Coordinates inquiries and manages the quarterly fee appeal process, adhering to policy and procedure. Delivers detailed data to the Waiver committee for review, and once reviewed, emails specific responses to students based on the committee's decision.
* Supports meetings with scheduling and note taking, including the Services & Activities meetings once a week, which could include evenings, throughout the academic year.
* Performs travel processes and make travel arraignments, as needed, using department and university guidelines for SES staff/candidates, ensuring that all documents and back-up are reported to the budget recordkeeper.
* Tracks and maintains semi-annual equipment inventory using established tracking systems.
* Tracks department funding approval requests for SES departments. ensuring requests are completed properly.
* Assists as a courier for time sensitive or secure correspondence with other university departments.
* Prepares meeting notices and agendas, reports, schedules, correspondence for supervisor's signature, etc.; proofread material; take notes; maintain all minutes and agendas for meetings, uploading to websites as warranted.
* Responds to inquiries regarding FERPA questions, the release of information process, fee waiver requests, rules, regulations, policies, and department procedures.
* Manages the student committee appointment process, verifying student eligibility, and completing reporting memos, and letters of appointment to students and faculty for positions under VP of Student Engagement and Success and the campus.
* Processes departmental transactions: apply departmental/university policies and procedures as they relate to areas such as: payroll, travel, fiscal operations, financial/human resource systems.
* Establishes and maintain manual and electronic filing systems, webpages under Student Engagement and Success.
* Participates on committees and/or meetings.
* Performs word processing tasks; use spreadsheets and database software to develop and maintain records; prepare and maintain spreadsheets, etc.
* Research issues as needed.
* Serves as back-up support to the office, to purchase supplies and other items as needed for the staff offices, with purchasing card. Reconciles monthly purchasing card log reviewing and verifying reports for accuracy and ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies; uses basic arithmetic to perform computations.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Salary: This position is based on the range 41 of the Washington State Classification Listing, which has a minimum annual salary of $43,980 and maximum annual salary of $58,584. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an indoor office setting with frequent in-person interactions.
