RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCES
Support in the area of accounts payable and receivable.
Support in attendance management and employee payroll.
Support in feeding weekly, monthly and annual reports of accounts payable and receivable.

Keep the accounting documentation files in order.

**_Responsibilities_**
+ Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers
+ Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims
+ Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing
+ Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
+ Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary
+ Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness
**_Qualifications_**
+ HS, GED, bachelor's degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred
+ 2 + years' experience as a Medical Biller or within Revenue Cycle Management preferred
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
+ Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Familiarity with ICD-10 coding
+ Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
