Primarily responsible for assisting the Coding Manager within the Coding Department. Assists in the management of daily operational processes, including: optimization of work assignments, timekeeping and supervision responsibilities of team, providing technical expertise for coding content and functions within the department. The supervisor is responsible for the analysis and assessment of data relating to coding. Acting as an internal consultant, the supervisor provides essential quality reports, advice and improvement recommendations to management along all service lines. Identifies work flow issues and solutions, training needs, works special projects, resolves claim/account issues and technical problems and communicates/escalates root cause issues as appropriate. Works closely with the Coding Manager to provide accurate, critical information for identification of areas needing immediate attention to improve revenue results. Monitors daily workflow, reassigns work as needed and monitors staff productivity as required to achieve key revenue cycle performances indicators. This supervisor will facilitate a climate of teamwork.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Supervises coders. Assists with training new staff, counsels staff on performance and assists with managing workload goals and standards of performance. (25%)
+ Assists coding manager with scheduling, payroll, work queue assignment, and physician education. (25%)
+ Assists with production coding when and where needed. (20%)
+ Builds strong relations and facilitates productive communication between key stakeholders and core support departments. Collaborates with others to develop and implement action plans to resolve errors. (10%)
+ Organizes, delegates, monitors and measures special projects to ensure they are completed timely and accurately. (10%)
+ Identifies, quantifies and monitors account detail or workflow processes for barriers. Makes process improvements or initiates courses of action for problem resolution. (10%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum**
+ Associates Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of Associate's degree
+ 3 years experience as a production coder related to the coding team being supervised which includes assigning ICD-10-CM codes, ICD-10-PCS codes (inpatient), CPT/HCPCS codes.
+ Excellent organizational and project management skills
+ 1 year in a leadership type role or a similar role in oversight of staff and/or processes
+ Professional Coding Certification

Work with all families in an equitable, culturally responsive and empowering manner.
To cooperate with all Epworth staff to enhance the mission and ministry as a whole.

Qualifications
Masters degree in related human services field is required.

Primary responsibilities include supervising business office support staff and assisting in the management of those related functions and processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervises daily activities of administrative support staff to ensure smooth workflow and operation of department. Coordinates team activities and the staff-to-workload ratios to accomplish the most effective use of resources.
Conducts all hiring, performance reviews, counseling/disciplinary action and termination of office staff. Work with direct report to manage any human resources/personnel issues for office staff.
Completes weekly medical records submissions to the CBO for prior week's procedures and any returned and resubmitted medical records. Ensures chain of custody of medical records daily, securely storing them before designated pickup time from Atlas Medical Records courier.
Overall manages the center patient admissions and registration process. Works directly with the CBO to align with efficient which may include but is not limited to patient admissions and registration, insurance verification, prior authorizations, scheduling, patient financial consultation, and medical records.
Collaborate with DOF, DON, and/or CEO to manage and improve patient experience program.
Oversees center Business Office supply inventory and ordering.
Work with CEO to ensure compliance with all Local, State, Federal (HIPAA, AAAHC, and OSHA) requirements.
Coordinates the resolution of Business Office issues related to physicians and their office staff.
Manages and ensures process compliance with patient cash collections, onsite cash storage, and cash bank deposits.
Performs all functions according to Atlas established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors every day.
Key advocate of patient and physician experience tracking, reporting, and initiatives. Involved with implementing CEO strategy for both experience plans.
Ensures invoices sent to the ASC are correctly forwarded/transmitted to the accounts payable team and AP system. Actively works with the materials coordinator to ensure supply receipts that do not have an invoice associated with them are resolved with the vendor or Atlas AP team.
Reviews daily log information sent by CBO and is responsible for resolving any missing documentation.
Manage mail correspondence and ensure it is emailed, uploaded, or sent to the appropriate department.
Work on special projects as delegated by DON or CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking service work, answering and directing incoming service calls, and performs all sales functions (quotes, estimates, bids, etc.).
Identify repair needs with the customers, gather necessary information to create and present an accurate quote or estimates and work with technicians to secure customer consent before starting repairs.
Review all warranty, policy, and service update requirements for the specific type of machine prior to beginning repairs.
Engage with customers regularly based on technician input to provide status updates, explain issues or ongoing changes, resolve questions, concerns through research and follow-up, advise replace versus repair options to ensure transparency, gain consent for repairs and discuss up-selling opportunities.
Review all warranty, policy, and service update requirements for the specific type of machine prior to beginning repairs.
Create, maintain and close all work orders by completing all necessary functions in ServiceLInk, while coordinating technicians to ensure all job segments are complete and accurately coded to the work order prior to invoicing.
Manage the various elements of a work order during the repair process, including additions or modifications of segments, charge codes, job notes, and if necessary, coordinate the usage, rental or purchase of special tools needed for technicians to perform repair work.
Schedule, track and manage all aspects of repairs including shop and field activities assigned to technicians using the Service Scheduling Tool.
Review accuracy of customer invoices as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure final repair performance meets or is under quoted amounts while being accountable for invoicing service calls in accordance with the WIP turn metric and meeting or exceeding the break-even goal for all goodwill and warranty decisions by managing variance in policy and warranty accounts.
Implement internal policy decisions for the Service Department and collaborate other departments to ensure their policy expenses are correctly allocated to internal accounts and work with PSSR' and other department sales representatives to coordinate service opportunities in their assigned areas.
Actively promotes and advocates for safety at Blanchard by adhering to and upholding all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards while training and serving as a team member in support of strategic programs, projects, and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment required. 2+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of heavy equipment service, maintenance and safe operation including the ability to safely operate heavy construction equipment, perform machine inspections, and operate a service vehicle.
Strong organizational, time management and problem- solving skills required, with the ability to meet organizational goals and objectives.

+ Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)
+ Ensuring back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization are at standard
+ Reinforce our company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage
+ Promote safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
+ Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
+ Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards
+ Directing associates and workload
+ Accountability for team productivity results and merchandise protection
+ Coaching associates in the moment and providing recognition
+ Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
+ Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
+ Drives Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships
+ Coordinate meal and break periods and monitors schedule adherence
Requirements:
+ At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
+ Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
+ Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
+ Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
