The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As a DPM you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions. You'll routinely engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards, whilst being responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery. You'll work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership; provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. They will hold the Practice total utilization goal and be responsible for optimizing team performance.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting, with at least 7 years in a people leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

AES Clean Energy is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high impact photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects through development, construction, commissioning and turnover to Operations. Define and document RFPs and scope of work packages for 3rd party EPC firms. Lead in EPC selection and contract negotiation.

Work alongside Development in determining internal budget and project schedules for a Project Execution Plan.
Act as the Owner's Representative for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract Management on high impact and utility-scale PV solar and energy storage projects in the US.
Responsible for leading the EPC Contract negotiations with the project Legal, Contract Management and SME teams.
Review and manage EPC Contractor schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans, and permit compliance
Manage and coordinate utility interconnection processes for construction projects and related documentation needed for project interconnection and testing
Manage engagements with project stakeholders and act as a representative of the company for interactions with landowners, local governmental agencies, customers, contractors, equipment and materials suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Support permitting and jurisdictional approval processes as needed for project construction.
Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms and delivery of contractual deliverables in accordance with the project budget and schedule.
Manage and coordinate activities of internal team of project engineering, commissioning, procurement, asset management, legal, finance, and accounting staff as well as deliverables of EPC Contractor, project stakeholders, and regulatory and permitting authorities.
Ensure project quality control and safe construction practices by conducting on-site inspections as needed, coordinating with 3rd party firms if necessary.
Lead project status update meetings with AES management, energy off-takers, utilities, EPCs, and finance counterparties, facilitating discussions with a detailed project plan and high-level status dashboard.
Manage the collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders and project financing needs
Lead the coordination of project turnover exercises from Construction to the Asset Operations team for assigned projects.

Skills and Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent.
At least 10+ years professional experience in a project management role for the construction of renewable energy projects is required.

This role will be responsible for applying standardized project management methodologies and documentation procedures using tools such as Workfront, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, etc. to increase visibility into Technology infrastructure initiatives. They will also maintain infrastructure budgets, and foster stakeholder engagement. The Technical Delivery Manager (Infrastructure) will be a catalyst for change in ways of working by promoting collaboration, documentation, and communication throughout the Technology Infrastructure project lifecycle. This role will work with the Senior Manager, Technical Delivery to update and maintain a Technology Infrastructure roadmap and to establish KPIs to measure the success of Technology Infrastructure project initiatives. This role will also be responsible for creating and presenting key project highlights to the Technology department, Technology Senior Leadership Team, and BetMGM Executive team via regular updates, in addition to maintaining real-time dashboards and metrics.
Responsibilities
Apply a standardized project management methodology to ensure the successful delivery of all infrastructure initiatives abiding to time, budget, and scope requirements
Create and upkeep scope specifications and project/program plans, tracking/reporting, and communication plans
Estimate time and resource requirements and monitor milestone completion through the entirety of the project lifecycle
Develop and maintain relationships with key infrastructure stakeholders both internally and within partnered organizations in teams such as Technology, Technical Governance, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, etc.
Leverage data to create KPIs and dashboards to increase business visibility into overall Technology Infrastructure project performance
Align with Technology stakeholders on infrastructure approaches and challenge, when appropriate, to ensure solutions are aligned with BetMGM business needs, are cost-effective, and are designed optimally
Create and distribute Technology Infrastructure work products to ensure all project risks (technical, operational, and financial) are raised and escalated and an accurate project status is communicated and represented in project documentation
Serve as the first point of escalation for infrastructure project roadblocks and/or risks
Essential Functions
Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business or Computer Science is highly preferred
PMP certification highly desired
A combined 5+ years of experience in project/program management roles within an IT organization and experience managing day-to-day operations in an infrastructure role
Experience working with stakeholders to develop and implement infrastructure solutions
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Experience managing global cross-functional technology infrastructure projects by creating supporting project/program plans and program level tracking/reporting
Experience managing disaster recovery, data center decommissioning, cloud migration, or data center buildout projects is highly preferred
Values attention to detail and understands the importance of precision in quality of work
Ability to successfully work across cultures and locations, driving team cohesion and effectiveness
Ability to work autonomously, escalating when required to remove roadblocks or hurdles
Experience in gaming, hospitality, retail, or similar industry preferred
Ability to inspire via superior communication (both written and verbal) & strong interpersonal skills are required
Experience communicating and interacting with executive teams is preferred
Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with a wide range of stakeholders including vendors, regulators, partners, and third parties
Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc. to optimize team efficiency
Organized, adaptable, and able to tackle the challenges of working on multiple Infrastructure Technology initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to come into the office and/or travel to other locations for key meetings and workshops with stakeholders
The annual salary range for this position is $89,200.00 to $125,000.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
