Summary: This Site Manager role is a dynamic position that is highly visible to Renovo Life Sciences colleagues and customer stakeholders. As a subject matter expert in laboratory operations and compliance, this role will ensure site regulations are followed and audits are conducted. This is a dedicated role to one facility that will be full-time onsite. What you will do: Ensure all site-specific requirements are always documented and updated. YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: * 100% on-site position (no hybrid, no remote) * Occasional travel may be required for training or audits * Export Control Program Management * Implement and maintain site-level procedures aligned with Corporate ITC Policies * Oversee U.S. Person verification and deemed export screening during onboarding * Maintain Technology Control Plans (TCPs) and ensure physical and digital access controls * Licensing & Jurisdiction * Coordinate license applications and amendments with Corporate ITC * Conduct jurisdiction and classification reviews (J/C) for new products and technologies * Track license expiration dates and reporting requirements * Training & Awareness * Deliver export compliance training to site personnel * Ensure HR, engineering, and operations teams understand their responsibilities * Maintain training records and audit readiness * Audits & Disclosures * Support internal audits and DDTC/BIS inquiries * Lead voluntary disclosure efforts when required * Maintain accurate records of export transactions and employee access * Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with HR to ensure proper screening and documentation * Work with IT to manage access controls and data security * Liaise with Corporate ITC to align site practices with enterprise-wide compliance strategy * Perform other duties as needed and assigned YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE: * Bachelor's degree preferred * 5+ years of experience in export compliance, preferably in aerospace or defense * Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and DDTC/BIS licensing processes * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary export control-related authorizations * This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
