Specifically, Treatment Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing a unit within a therapeutic milieu focused on providing intensive treatment services to individuals who have been convicted of a sexual offense. They are responsible for the creation, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans aimed at decreasing risk of re-offense upon release. Treatment Team Leaders provide training and ongoing supervision to clinical therapists who facilitate treatment within the Treatment Team Leader's assigned unit. In addition, Treatment Team Leaders facilitate treatment for individuals who have engaged in sexual offense conduct. These staff members also assist in the evaluation of participants for program progression and graduation. Treatment Team Leaders are essential to the treatment program's ultimate goal of ending sexual violence, or "No More Victims." An ideal candidate holds a master's degree in a human service-related field (e.g., social work, psychology, mental health counseling). Candidates must be independently licensed (e.g., LICSW, LMHC). Ideal candidates are conscientious, organized, intellectually curious, excellent team players, maintain strong boundaries, adept at clinical case conceptualization, and possess excellent clinical writing skills. Candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment with challenging clinical cases are especially well-suited for this position. Although this position requires independent licensure, Unit Directors attend clinical supervision; candidates should be open to the clinical supervision process, as well as receptive and willing to implement feedback. Prior experience working in the field of sexual abuse treatment and prevention is not required; all necessary training is provided following official hire. Maintain Department of Early Education and Care compliance, COA, and QRIS; report to the Executive Director any potential non-compliances in a timely way. Meet with the Department of Early Education and Care licensor as needed. Communicate with the Director and the School Street team regarding EEC/COA/QRIS regulations on a regular basis. Responsibilities Include: * Conduct 10-12 multi-modal groups a week with adolescents and adults, and document group attendance and activity in the medical record and individualized treatment plan. Group content focused on dance/movement therapy for individuals with eating disorders. * Participate in daily rounds as time allows, and communicate daily with members of the treatment teams on patient progress and * Conduct the Expressive Therapy consultations as needed. Review content and share pertinent information with the treatment team and program staff. * Develop and update group syllabus for skills-based, process-oriented, and educational groups. * Collaborate on the organization, cleaning, and ordering of materials for the movement room used by the entire building. * Participate in weekend tasks, at a maximum of one weekend day a month, with a flexible weekday off in compensation ("comp day") to be applied in agreement with your supervisor * Collect outcome and quality data as required for reports; prepare required reports as needed. * Work with clinical teams to ensure clients have access to and are participating in pro-social activities. * Attend required supervision meetings, staff meetings. * Teach group skills and therapeutic content to students, interns, and program staff as needed. * Assist the treatment team in coordinating referrals for internal and external services. Qualifications: Education: * Master's Degree, in expressive arts therapy (preferred, or in training) * Experience of certification in expressive art therapies preferred Experience: * Experience providing groups in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorder or inpatient psychiatric setting * Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a mental health setting Licensure/Certification: * Preferred to have LCSW, LMHC, R-DMT (registered dave movement therapist), or in training. * CPR certification, required Knowledge: * Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors. * Demonstrated capacity to create group ideas and therapeutic group interventions * Knowledge of behavioral health, including group treatment modalities * Crisis management skills and group intervention skills with clients * Strong clinical and patient counseling skills * Ability to work as a member of a team * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm #Walden #LI-ONSITE
