The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance team members, including electricians, pipefitters, and millwrights. The Maintenance Group Lead will lead a skilled maintenance team to support production uptime and equipment reliability, while championing a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. They will partner with Production, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to minimize downtime and drive performance. * Must be willing to relocate to Warsaw, Indiana. Relocation assistance will be provided. * WHAT YOU GET TO DO Prioritize safety, above all else, to protect our team members, partners, and customers. Analyze and evaluate existing team structure and deployment to support manufacturing operations. Develop standardized work for maintenance team members. Optimize response time to equipment downtime to increase productivity and reduce costs. Provide technical expertise and support for assembly line setup and production. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline assembly processes. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for process improvement projects. Work closely with safety teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Implement and optimize a preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment uptime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Document and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary parts and equipment. Capture and document lessons learned for continuous improvement. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Bachelor's degree is preferred. While a degree is preferred, we value hands-on experience and a proven track record of success in similar roles as a suitable substitute and encourage candidates to apply who can demonstrate relevant and commensurate professional experience. 3+ years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Group Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, or Tradesperson in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the automotive industry. In-depth knowledge of general assembly processes and manufacturing best practices. Experience with preventative maintenance and efficiency improvement. Experience with implementing automation in assembly processes. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Highly adaptable and proactive, excelling in fast-paced start-up and new model launch environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
