The HumanResourcesSpecialist will lead onsite HR initiatives supporting leadership and Outfitters in the store in the following areas: staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence. Additionally, this role will assist the General Manager with administrative functions as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Acts as a brand ambassador representing the culture of the organization to drive retention and positive working environment within each department.
Helps facilitate the hiring/staffing process for hourly outfitters.
Ensures training completion/monitoring for location outfitters.
Processes and audits all employment actions in HRIS/Payroll/Scheduling system for hourly outfitters.
Maintains “confidentiality” with all sensitive information.
Assists with planning and implementing associate recognition and other activities in collaboration with the General Manager.
Assists in communicating all HR related polices, practices and direction from the company.
Compliance maintenance and record keeping (legal posters, notices etc.).
Provides guidance and support for performance management, annual review process and succession planning for hourly outfitters.
Responds and resolves first level outfitter issues. Partners with Sr. HRM or Employee Relations Department for guidance on all outfitter issues requiring escalation as appropriate.
Performs administrative duties as needed.
Processes invoices, manages expenses within Coupa.
Orders and monitors store supplies.
Coordinates travel for store Outfitters and leaders.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in HumanResource
Years of experience: 1-3 years humanresources and administrative/office experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
May require infrequent travel to help support other stores, new store events, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular computer work, walking, sitting, and standing.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
:

About the Position
The HR Generalist provides support for day-to-day operations as it relates to humanresources; which includes employee relations, recruiting & on-boarding, benefit & leave administration, payroll in accordance with company policy. How you'll contribute
Prepares and manages the staffing schedule for the nursing department. Serves as a central contact for communication of schedule changes and other pertinent information regarding the nursing staff. Contacts staff to provide coverage for staff call offs. Works with payroll to ensure that employees of the nursing department are paid appropriately and timely. Work with DON in an administrative role. Responsibilities include:
Prepares regular staffing schedules for nursing staff and posts schedule no less than two weeks prior to the start of the schedule.
Communicates schedule changes and other pertinent information to management and staff in a timely manner.
Serves as the central contact person for the nursing department for call offs, schedule changes, PTO scheduling.
Ensures coverage for both planned and unplanned schedule changes. Notifies appropriate management of discrepancies in staffing in a timely manner.
Monitors employee hours to minimize overtime.
Enters schedules/schedule changes into the payroll system.
Works with payroll to manage time entry to ensure proper and timely pay.
Works with management to maximize efficiencies in scheduling for the department.
Educates current and new staff on scheduling, communication methods and processes. For example, requesting time off, schedule changes, picking up shifts, holiday scheduling, etc.
Provides additional support to the hospital as directed.

**_Job Purpose:_**
Revenue Cycle Management focuses on a series of clinical and administrative processes that healthcare providers utilize to capture, bill, and collect patient service revenue. The revenue cycle shadows the entire patient care journey and begins with patient appointment scheduling and ends when the patient's account balance is zero.
This position is responsible for reviewing the physician's daily schedule and obtaining verification of patients' insurance benefits for their scheduled visits. They will also obtain authorization for all requested procedures, tests, drugs, etc. The Coordinator, Benefits Eligibility and Prior Authorization may be asked to perform other duties if necessary and must be knowledgeable in a variety of Insurance Plans and Procedures.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Verify all new, returning, and annual patient eligibility to confirm insurance status and benefits including patient responsibility such as deductible, out of pocket, copay and coinsurance prior to services rendered.
+ Communicate with patients, front end staff, physicians & payors as needed to obtain updated insurance and/or clinical information.
+ Submit authorizations for all internal and external orders including but not limited to radiation, chemotherapy, PET/CT, urology and scans.
+ Follow up within 48 hours on any existing authorizations that are pending approval.
+ Ensure proper documentation outlining all steps taken to ensure authorization have been submitted, followed up on and obtained.
+ Upon approval, enter all authorization information into the billing system and attach confirmation into the EMR.
+ Take any action necessary for any denials received by the payor to inform the clinician of changes that may need to happen to not delay patient care.
+ Complete any pre-service appeals to obtain paying approval based on medical necessity.
+ Communicate effectively with all RCM and clinical staff to ensure appropriate treatment can be provided, claims can be processed accurately and timely payment received.
+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality for patients in accordance with HIPAA standards.
+ Utilize CPT coding, ICD-10 coding knowledge to accurately document procedures and diagnoses.
+ Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patients are contracted prior to appointments informing them of any treatment schedule changes.
+ Effectively complete other duties and projects assigned.
+ Stay up to date on insurance policies, managed care guidelines and relevant healthcare regulations affecting authorization processes.
+ Regular attendance and punctuality.
+ Execute all functions of the role with positivity and team effort.
