Provide support to NEW Water's Aquatic Monitoring Program (AMP)

Serve as the first mate on NEW Water's work boats (40 ft workboat used in lower Green Bay and a 17 ft aluminum workboat used in the lower Fox River)

Candidate should have completed coursework in aquatic biology, chemistry, limnology and/or toxicology. A successful candidate will be comfortable with limnological and hydrologic field work - wading in streams, collecting and processing water quality samples, potentially getting dirty, working from a boat on a river and working from a boat on a large body of water in various weather working conditions (hot, cold, windy, rainy, sunny, muddy, mosquitos/ticks and zebra/quagga mussels). This position requires initiative, attention to detail, ability to follow standard procedures, proper laboratory technique and experience maintaining databases and spreadsheets. About The Opportunity
This position works closely with the Pricing Maintenance Manager in the Pricing Center of Excellence. This position will analyze and update pricing data in the SAP system, prepare Excel reports for management review, and support key pricing data maintenance projects. Human resources internship job in Kohler, WI
Work Mode: Onsite Opportunity Obtain an operational understanding of the Hospitality department the intern is assigned to. Intern will train in all departmental functional positions with the intent of developing skills to a level where the intern will manage the function independently when the appointment manager is not scheduled. Intern may learn financial aspects of the department based upon assignment. There will also be a focus on management skills in order to provide the intern a comprehensive understanding of how to successfully manage a team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Summary of Management and behavioral skills the intern will experience are as follows:
* Scheduling
* Interviewing front line staff
* Leading daily communications
* Building member relations and problem solving
* Serving as Manager on Duty
* General customer service skills learned in the various roles they will train in
* Interaction with members of the Executive Management Committee of the Kohler H&RE Group
* Performance Management and performance evaluations
* Will learn to be proficient in Touch, Springer Miller, Microsoft Office, Kohler Intranet, Infogenesis, Timesaver, Workplace Ordering System, and Inventory Management based on assigned internship.
* Intern will be assigned a final project which will be a presentation for the Executive Management Team. The presentation will focus on key learning from their internship as well as reporting out on their assigned project.
This position is for a minimum of 12 weeks starting no later than May 18, 2026 and ending no earlier than August 7, 2026. Shifts vary between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, with weekdays and weekends required.
Skills/Requirements
* Currently enrolled as a junior level student in a four year college program.
* Emphasis of study must be focused on hospitality, resort, or spa management.
* Strong academic performance with a 3.0 GPA or higher
* Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
* Must have reliable transportation.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
