Job Accountabilities
This position will work to identify high value project opportunities within the CAPP division, build cross functional project teams, and execute results-driven rapid Kaizen events. The incumbent will develop and prepare materials for use in the events, coordinate with plant management and participants, lead instruction on the use of process improvement tools, facilitate team decisions, manage team work, resolve team conflict, assist in the development of implementation action plans, and conduct follow-up activities through audits and process monitoring. Primary focus for the position will be in driving value through teams throughout our manufacturing sites, however can support all other areas of the business as demand dictates.
Key Priorities:
Annual CI Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive CI strategy that aligns with the Division goals and objectives.
Lead the CI Steering team in execution of the annual CI strategy.
Collaborate with plant leaders to ensure improvements are successfully implemented and sustained.
Analyze and Improve Processes:
Collaborate with plant leaders to identify inefficiencies in organizational workflows and develop solutions that drive operational improvement to meet key performance commitments.
Implement Lean Methodologies:
Utilize CI tools, methodologies, and techniques like Process / Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Hoshin Kanri, 5S, TPM, Kata, Kanban, Poka Yoke, Gemba and Kaizen to reduce divisional waste/cost and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Lead and Facilitate Training:
Develop and provide training with a focus on practical shop floor applications to plant teams on operational excellence principles, methodologies, and tools to drive improvement in business operations.
Develop and mentor a team of CI Champions in each plant to drive organizational improvement effectiveness.
Standardized learning materials and enable ease of accessibility.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Collaborate and align CAPP functions and plants to achieve business directives to ensure the successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with plant resources to establish a community of best practices that are implemented across the division.
Measure and Track Performance:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of C.I. initiatives and identify areas for further improvement.
Leverage leading indicator metrics to proactively manage outcomes.
Develop and Implement Standard Work:
Establish standardized procedures to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
Develop computer systems that minimize organizational waste and support standardization.
Create and maintain an accessible repository for safety/ Lean / CI tools and all related information.
Manage CI Projects:
Lead and manage CI projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Provide organizational guidance for projects, selection, tool utilization and management strategy to reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and reduce lead time.
Promote CI Culture:
Champion, encourage and support a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Travel to various CAPP plants approximately 75% each month.

Job Description: Following established procedures and working under supervision, performs a variety of job duties in the BISCUIT production make-up and packaging operations, as needed, to cover call-offs and vacations. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director - Manufacturing Operations Solutions, Asset Performance Management, Engineering & Logistics Solutions Lead will focus on delivering best-in-class applications for monitoring assets at PGS manufacturing facilities. This includes collaborating with Global Technology & Engineering (GT&E) and PGS sites to drive operational discipline, increase productivity, improve asset utilization, enhance manufacturing attainment, and optimize material flow.
This role is also responsible for delivering a multi-year digital strategy for Asset Performance Management and Warehousing & Logistics solutions aligned with PGS priorities. The primary focus is on delivering intuitive applications that provide proven value for Engineering and Operations at PGS sites. This position is critical to supporting Pfizer's corporate commitment to achieving Net Zero.
The Director will coordinate program engagement with stakeholders across the Digital portfolio to ensure application data is presented and integrated in alignment with enterprise standards for data ingestion, ensuring robustness and efficiency. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for advanced analytics and use cases for industry-leading technologies, including AI.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director - Manufacturing Operations Solutions, Asset Performance Management, Engineering & Logistics Solutions Lead will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in business management, information systems, Computer Science or Engineering plus 8 years of related work experience or master's degree plus 7+ years of experience or PHD plus 5+ years of experience.
* 3-5 years of experience working in a Global Solution environment, involving deployment of complex, integrated enterprise systems for manufacturing.
* 3-5 years' experience leading the deployment and development of Asset Performance Management Solutions
* Strong knowledge and practical experience in manufacturing, automation, IoT, data analytics, AI, connected worker and ML in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in all stages of a program lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, delivery through value realization
* Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.
* A thorough understanding of system GMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in GMP environments.

About the Role

About You
Experience:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an MRA coder strongly preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Safety and Regulatory Compliance
Demonstrates and ensures staff alignment with Company Safety Pledge and 12 Live Saving Rules.
Exemplifies, promotes, and develops safe work behaviors. Provides direct coaching to improve associate's safety behaviors resulting in an improved safety culture.
Performs safety incident investigations recommending corrective actions to eliminate recurrences.

Personnel / Personnel Development
Provides overall management of direct reports in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws to ensure assigned performance and financial targets are met or exceeded.
Works closely with Area Operations Managers to develop subordinate managers.
Ensures sufficient operations staffing levels; works with the Human Resources Department to develop recruitment, staff development and retention strategies.
Delegates duties and responsibilities when appropriate for increased business efficiency and staff development.
Major accountabilities include interviewing, hiring and training associates, planning, assigning and directing work; managing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensures subordinate matters/concerns are efficiently and effectively handled.
Consults with Human Resources regarding personnel issues including coaching, counseling and performance management.
Customer Service / Business Development
Ensures all customers receive quality customer service from operations associates.
Ensures internal and external customer inquiries are promptly and courteously handled, providing follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Responsible for inventory management of cylinder assets throughout the Region.
Business / Facility Management & Support
Establish and consistently meet or exceed quality and delivery standards of products and services for internal and external customers.
Develop operations and capital expenditure budgets and coordinates capital expenditures once proper approvals have been received.
Monitors open order books, production orders and schedules to obtain product data such as types, quantities, specifications of products, and scheduled delivery dates in order to meet customer's needs. Works closely with Plant Managers when trends warrant discussion.
Monitors monthly P&L's in order to identify and correct unfavorable trends.
Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and minimum delays.
Develops, implements, and revises, as needed, standard operational practices.
Actively participates in end of month close activities with CFO, VP Finance and Inventory Manager.
Regularly reviews operational expenses with the ability to explain variances and recommend appropriate actions.
Adheres to a sustainable process for operational files and records; completes all required paperwork accurately, timely and in compliance with various company policies and procedures, to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Continuous improvement of all applicable safety, environmental, quality and compliance programs.
Works closely with other regions when necessary to resolving issues, assist with technical support and customer visits.

Must have the following knowledge and experience: FDA, OSHA, DHS, DOT, EPA, and state regulations for cylinder markings, test dates, pressure ratings, ICC markings, placarding, hazardous material classifications, accident reporting, and safety and compliance.
Must have a proven track record of motivating and leading individuals and groups.
Experience in working in a union and nonunion environment preferred.
Demonstrated strong financial acumen.
Negotiating and selling skills a plus.
Master's in Business Administration a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
SAP knowledge and experience a plus.

Arcadis seeks a Florida D&E Business Unit Manager to join our team in Florida. This position could be in Orlando or Tampa and oversee existing and future infrastructure projects including interchange and intersection reconstructions, widening and reconstruction of collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways.
The Arcadis team is expanding and involved in providing solutions to some of the most complex and exciting highway design challenges for the FDOT, Florida Turniplike and select municipalities in Florida. We are looking for a candidate with the skills to support our current projects and help continue to grow our business by building relationships with clients and teaming partners, supporting pursuit activities as well as helping recruit staff to continue to grow our staff.
Role Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for the profit and loss of the Florida D&E group. This includes developing budgets, managing expenses, and overseeing project execution per project plan.
Recruiting, mentoring, and providing directions to Project Managers and key discipline leads around project execution including risk management, scoping, pricing, and scope/budget management.
Work with quality team to implement quality management activities within project execution.
Conduct monthly project reviews to oversee project execution, discuss projects risk management plan, validate resourcing needs, and monitor project progress again key performance indices.
Conduct regular client check-ins to monitor client satisfaction with Arcadis' performance. Interaction with client point of contact as well as technical staff, either as a team or individual, making presentations, and managing client expectations.
Participating in business development activities including client visits, marketing strategy development and proposal preparations. Specific role may include serving as project pursuit lead in key opportunities to guide our team towards efficient development of proposal to maximize Arcadis' chances to selection.
Performing various roles on multi-disciplined projects including QA/QC reviewer, technical advisor, design leader and/or client facing project manager.
Preparation of written reports, calculations, and other design documentation.
Required Qualifications:
18+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Florida Professional Engineering license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Key Skills/Attributes:
In-depth understanding of FDOT's project delivery processes.
Experience delivering projects in FDOT D5 and/or FDOT D7
Ability to run operations of a growing design and engineering growing following Arcadis' process and industry best practices.
Must have strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills and be an initiative-taking, collaborative and flexible individual who possesses the initiative and ability to tackle project and resourcing challenges.
Excellent, clear, and concise, oral, and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports.
