Key Responsibilities
Serve as technician handling daily assigned service desk tickets
Support hardware refresh and laptop deployment cycles (setup, configuration, user migration when applicable)
Provide support for conference rooms, Surface Hubs, and audio/video equipment
Perform basic user account support (password resets, MFA troubleshooting, access issues)
Assist with routine IT tasks such as:
Updating machines
Running Windows updates
Tracking and maintaining asset inventory
Supporting new-hire setups as needed
Escalate issues appropriately to senior staff when out of scope

Job Summary
As an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) at Reliable Medical, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions by evaluating, recommending, and customizing assistive technologies. Essential Functions
Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, limitations, and assistive technology needs. Collaborate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to gather relevant information and understand specific requirements. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical observations to identify suitable assistive technology solutions.
Recommendation and Customization: Based on assessments, recommend appropriate assistive technology devices and solutions that align with clients' goals and capabilities. Customize and adapt existing technologies to ensure a precise fit and optimal functionality for each individual. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in assistive technology and integrate them into your recommendations.
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of a wide range of assistive technologies, including mobility devices, communication aids, environmental control systems, adaptive computer software, and more. Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot assistive technology devices to ensure seamless operation. Provide technical training to clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of assistive technology solutions.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, recommendations, and customization processes. Prepare comprehensive reports outlining assessment findings, recommended solutions, and rationale for each case. Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure timely documentation and billing procedures.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians, to create holistic care plans. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and caregivers to explain the benefits and functionalities of recommended assistive technologies.
Continuing Education and Training: Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in assistive technology through ongoing professional development. Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to expand your knowledge and skills.
Minimum Requirements
Certification as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) by the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) is a requirement.
Proven experience in assessing, recommending, and customizing assistive technology solutions for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions.
Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with a wide range of assistive technology devices and software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Our Seasonal Field Support Technician is responsible for completing the set-up and break-down of our kiosks in various local retail stores. Tasks include driving a moving truck, carrying equipment into the location, setting up a kiosk, and location maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of computer/tech installation, but this is not required.
What you'll do here:
Assist with the set-up and teardown of kiosk furniture, computers, tech, and kiosk components using hand tools.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Campus & Student Support (Facilities & Customer Service):
Answer phones, and greet and assist students, staff, faculty, and visitors at the Warrior Welcome Hub (front counter).
Monitor hallways, classrooms, and common areas; report any concerns to university officials or Securitas as needed.
Assist with classroom and event readiness by reviewing schedules and ensuring space setup and cleanliness.
Offer general administrative and logistical support for classes, events, and activities.
Promote a safe, welcoming, and organized campus environment.
Technology Support (Client Services / IT Help Desk):
Answer the Stockton Campus OIT Help Desk Line and provide basic technology assistance and referrals. Help students with obtaining Warrior ID cards.
Provide tier 1 technical support for computers, printers, and classroom equipment.
Assist with tier 2 support tasks under supervision of professional staff.
Use the university's problem ticketing system to log and track support requests.
Act as a liaison between users and IT staff to resolve issues efficiently.
Help ensure compliance with computer lab and network use policies

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with university systems such as Canvas, my StanState, OneDrive, and Teams.
Experience supporting classroom technology or working in a help desk/lab assistant role.
Ability to remain calm and helpful in high-stress or technical troubleshooting situations.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated customer service experience and a positive, helpful attitude.
Basic computer skills, including experience with Windows and/or MacOS, Microsoft Office/365, internet browsers, and email.
